Is anyone else having weird things happening in DS4.11?

I downloaded 4.11 today ... I know it's weird I upgraded so quickly, lol, and now I'm vindicated in why I always wait. The tabs I have on the left side are normal, like my usual setup, until all of a sudden, I go to adjust my parameters and the dials get shrunken down so I can't see them. So I end up shutting Daz down and reopening it. I've had to do it three times today. Anyone else having weirdness with the interface?

No, in fact I was pleasantly surprised when I upgraded to 4.11 (from 4.9x). Not only were my setup the same, even the content file I had left open the last time I used it was still open.
That said, it froze my whole computer earlier today, although I think that was more likely the scene was too memory heavy.
I hope someone can help with your problem.
Nope, I haven't have one problem so far.

Which workspace are you using? I've got a ticket in for a problem with Hollywood Blvd -- although, weirdly, it's the direct opposite of yours.
I have a saved workspace customized to my needs. Next time it happens, I'll have the sense to do a scene shot and show ya'll what I mean.
I've definitely had the parameters on the right side shrink down, though I have been able to click and drag to expand them. I need to pay more attention to when it happens to properly bug report it.
No problems here.
Is this that thing where you select the dial and there's a kind of colored outline around it?
It's literally that the border of the panel with the dials in it shifts so far to the right that you can only see the very left edges of the dials. Sometimes there is enough space to see the first few letters of the dial, sometimes not even that.
Eeeek hope I don’t get this one too
the vanishing mouse cursor that was never solved and animation length reverting to 217 on saves is bad enough
Yes, I get that...I have a two-monitor setup, so it's only mildly annoying.
Ah yeah my panels also undocked on another monitor but believe me that too can stuff up in updates, a couple years ago everything kept being chucked off my other monitor with one
Other than favourites not showing, no issues.
Yes, Ive seen this happen. Still alot of selection tree issues as well.
It did it again, and this time I thought ahead and made a screenshot. I tried to 'recover' the parameters dials by closing the right-side tools, but it didn't help. Here is what I'm seeing ...
If you're talking about the right column of the pane/tab, Parameters, for example, I've noticed this, too. And it's annoying, but I think I know why it's doing it. At least when it happens to me, I've got something selected in the scene tab with a very long name and the left column of the pane/tab is adjusting to accommodate it, while the right column shrinks to compensate.
I have never seen this. I assume you tried clicking on another tab in the column, like Surfaces, (Scene is selected in your screenshot.)
I'd recommend moving or closing the three other tabs you have along with Viewport in the middle section, (Environment, Tool Settings, and Render Settings,) and see if the problem persists. Although I've never heard of those particular tabs causing trouble in the layout.
I've tried closing the tools on the right ... I've tried collapsing them and extending the tools on the left. Nothing works till I restart Daz. PITA and an annoying interruption of workflow. It's costing me money every time it does it.
I’m getting a lot of crashes and rendering is slower than the previous version...
I've had an issue where the camera jumps around when using the scroll-wheel. I reported it and they reproduced it, so I'm hoping they patch soon.
...maybe I'll stick with the Beta a little longer. Don't really use dForce anyway.
I think -- though I will not swear to it -- that this is actually an extreme version of the bug that I reported to Daz. They were finally able to confirm it; it's an unintended behavior change introduced between 4.10 and 4.11. When you have a long name for an item in the Scene tab, the part of the Parameters tab where the name is displayed will flex itself to show the entire name, and will not let you resize as long as that item is selected. It doesn't necessarily happen immediately; it appeared on my installation when I'd go off the Parameters tab to something else -- usually the Render tab, in my case -- and then when I went back, it was locked in place. I could actually make it bigger, but I couldn't make it any smaller, and bigger was not remotely what I needed. I think yours seems more extreme than what I'm seeing because it looks like you have much longer Scene names than I generally do.
The reason that I won't swear to it is that I was seeing the issue in the Hollywood Blvd layout, and couldn't necessarily duplicate it in City Limits, which looks like the workspace you're using.
At a guess, it's either going to be handled in a bugfix version of 4.11, if there is one, or else get punted to 4.12. I can't tell from the changelog if it's being addressed in 4.12 or not; it looks like they're doing a lot with dForce, animation, 1K, and "source maintenance", whatever that may be.
Depending on what you can see and how your scene is built, you can resize the panels by clicking in a blank part of the scene, so that nothing is selected, and then manually resizing the panes.
Since you're using a different workspace than I am, I would strongly recommend filing a ticket so that they can document that the issue occurs in other layouts besides Hollywood.
Something a little different than misbehaving side columns…
I've been working on a scene for weeks now, trying to do soemthing in 3DL. I finally gave up and put a lot of work into converting to Iray, saving as I went. I wanted to try something different with a ghost light I was using, so I saved the scene and played with my idea. It didn't work the way I had hoped, so I reloaded the scene.
And everything was cattywampus. Some things had moved horizontally, somethings had moved vertically, meshes were named incorrectly, (for example, the apartment object when selected in the Scene TAB, showed up with the correct material zones in the Surfaces Editor, but the mesh it was controlling was a sofa. When I clicked on the apartment object in the Viewport, the "Nail" was selected in the Scene tab. And the apartment object itself was angled about 45º forward.
I thought about doing a screencapture, but I couldn't find a POV that really showed what happened.
I am very happy to report the file was not corrupted. After restarting Daz Studio, the scene loaded just fine. Phew!
