Simple question - what are some of your favourite Genesis 2 characters? Male or female, and don't just have to be from daz3d.
Currently going through my own Gen2 folders and wondering if I've missed any good ones.

I never got into G2 because G1 was way more versatile for my needs, up until G8.
The Girl 6, Lilith 6, and SAV Marina are my favorite G2Fs.

Among others because the 3DL textures are excellent, but they also look great converted to Iray.
I've probably used Malice and Mayhem the most out of the characters

It's the only G2 character I ever use, so maybe it doesn't really count, but: Minotaur 6.

Callie 6
She is the only Genesis 2 character that i ever use anymore.
Ninive 6. A very unique face. This character made me jump on the Genesis line bandwagon.
The only ones I ever used for more than test renders are Gianni 6 (possibly with one of his add-on skins) and P3D's Noa from Rendo. I used her with one of P3D's V4 skins (Lily). They both had exactly the look I wanted. Other than those, I jumped pretty much directly from G1 to G8, and them back-filled with some G3 characters.

I still think Darius 6 is the best of the Darius models. If I had to pick a favorite of Genesis 2, it would be Darius 6.
On the female side of base models, Olympia 6 I use the most, I think. I don't know why. Pretty classic shape overall. A lot of dial spins are a step down from her IMO.
Non-base? Maybe I use SHIFTING IMAGES' Domina the most (gotta like that name, Domina).
Jepe's Nathan on the guy side. Jepe didn't really get into G3M, so he updated his older figures with Iray mats and such.
Other than My own custom morphed Characters,
Darious 6 for me also.
Truly a great Character for animated films.

I think my all-time favorite character for G2 has to be LY Trini. I love her and have used her a lot. Sometimes, I use her as is or I'll partially dial in her morph to something else I'm using. I love her cute little body type. I think she exudes pure spunk. My second favorite is FW Ashley. There's just something about her I like, and I've used her in a lot of renders.
I'm not sure what it says about me that my all-time favorite G2 character for the males is Ogora the Orc HD by RawArt. I've probably rendered him more often than any other male.
I seldom use any character as they are, but for base characters to start from, The Girl 6 and Ysabeau 6 are probably my favorites (both with some Victoria 6, and other morphs as well). But I also really liked Callie 6 and P3D Quinty (both with additional morphs morphs). IMHO the Genesis 2 Female Morphs Bundle is also a must with almost any character to get them perfect look.
I got into Daz recently, so G2 is mostly before my time and hasn't been hugely worth investing in, although I have picked up a couple.
The only one I use on a regular basis though is based on a dial-spun mix of Girl and Ysabeau 6:

Ysabeau and Ninive; converted those textures over to G8, and have done others but forget which without looking.
Michael 6, Lee 6, Girl 6
They polish up really well for Iray, imo. :) Here's Michael 6 with some minor body shape adjustments and some skin settings tweaks.
His skin textures and morph are really quite good. Once the skin settings are updated with some Iray tweaks, I think he looks great!
Lee 6 also looks outstanding! And Girl 6 is quite adorable. So I think those are my top three Genesis 2 characters.
Olympia 6 also polishes up quite well with some Iray skin settings adjustments, imo.
I should have lowered her skin shine quite a bit here, but other than that I think she looks good:
Here's a mix of Olympia 6 and Stephanie 5 (via Legacy Shapes for G2F).
The Genesis 2 line really looks nice with some updated skin, eye, and nail settings. But the bends are still not so great, particularly in more dynamic or extreme poses. Products like Ultimate Natural for Olympia 6 can help a lot though - I used it with the above render.
For me, my favorite Genesis 2 male characters are:
Gianni 6: Due to his heroic body look.
Michael 6, since it was the first Genesis 2 Male core figures.
Derek 6 due to the way the skin would render out. it was very realistic
Scott 6 for his superhero look and the clothings and accessories tied to him (Retro Future and Alternate Identity).
Can't say the same for Genesis 2 Female. I have favorites for Genesis 3 but not much for 2.
None really but Gianni 6 is best, though I need to apply skin shaders to make him Iray compatible and close to realism. Without it, he won't look appealing.
InaneGlory did a bunch of really nice Iray conversions of many of the base model skins. As I recall, they were free a couple Christmases ago... he still has them up on DA:

It is kind of fun to go back and play with Genesis 2. The bends definitely aren't as nice, but as long as you're playing within a certain range and not tieing them up like pretzels, then it can definitely work.
Here's my 2 seconds of dial spinning and messing with GIMP. Was originally going to use Domina, but I used IG's Olympia Iray presets on this one. I definitely tweaked the image for usual pinup kind of look, though.

You can use InaneGlory as "The Blurst of Times" suggested and for the other characters you can use "Iray Smart Converter and Advanced Skin Managers for Genesis 2" which I used below, and there's also N.G.S. Anagenessis 2 - Revolution, which I use a lot.
