I really love G2M still, so I might have to change my fave G2 character from Michael 6 to G2M....lol. If you have the right morphs and some patience, you can do a lot :). The beauty of the Genesis line is that you can, with some work, make any kind of face you want (or body too).
Here I used Scott 6, but the head is a bunch of different morphs and the skin is a heavily modified N.G.S. shader. He's wearing chevybabe25's wonderful eyebrows for Genesis 8 male (Avg 15) - I have a Genesis 3 male clone for G2M, so fitting the brows was just a matter of changing scene ID to G3M and then fitting to G2M :). Really short hair by Laticis....I use this alot because I just adore it. The hairline is perfect and I wish all male hair had a hairline this nice.

I don't have any renders of him that I can find, but my favorite is Darius 6.

Highly detailed character? No, there are skins with more moles and speckles and spots. However, the skin is really pretty. There's a definite glow to her.
She's got it where it counts. She's like the Millennium Falcon. You look at the pieces compared to a Genesis 8 model, and think, "that piece of junk?" And then she blows you away. Renders fast, and the output is great.
(Here, converted to Iray, I forget which method I used this time. Pretty3D's wet hair for V4. ironman13's towel for modesty's sake.)

I don't know if it's just me, but I always feel like Genesis 2 is a specially pretty generation. Don't get me wrong, because I love the diversity of G8, but so many of the G2 characters have a special type of look that seems to have fallen out of fashion recently. Then again, I tend to see trends that aren't there.

Easy maybe not but you can use GenX to go from G2 to G3. And for G3 to G8 (and soon G2 to G8) you can use Singular Blues freeware.

Ditto! Years ago, I asked Joe Quick to do a G3M version of Extraordinary Men. Now I understand why he balked. We could still use these types for THIS generation.
Thanks for the info! I know how to transfer from G3 to G8, so I suppose I could make this work with GenX... but I would have to purchase three products for that.

I agree. Even Genesis and M4 characters were very distinct from each other.
Ariadne by Raiya, https://www.daz3d.com/ariadne-for-v6 , is one of my all time favorites. I used NGS 2 for her skin, https://www.daz3d.com/n-g-s-anagenessis-2-revolution . The dress is Nyx with some quick and dirty shader work, https://www.daz3d.com/nyx-outfit-for-genesis-2-female-s , and the hair is Linday's classic long hair, https://www.daz3d.com/classic-long-hair-with-dforce-for-genesis-8-females . And with all G2 characters, I recommend the Beautiful Bends products, but I think they may have been discontinued.
You really nailed this render. You got the emotions just right. The story feels like it can go in any direction from here. Really nice. Did you shade the roof of the car like it was water intentionally or was it just a happy accident? Very cool!
More Olympia 6 with N.G.S. 2.
The Darius 6 texture rivals a lot of the newer figures, and is certainly a lot more realistic than the later iterations of the Darius line.
Its true isnt it? In fact, that is my only real critique for this render. Id like to see just a touch more focus on the character in the back seat but I think her detail probably wouldnt mach up to the detail of the Darius skin. Minor quibble really.

My favorite G2F character morph is Lucy by Sabby, thats what I have for my avatar, though I also love any morph that is toon/anime/manga styled, such as Erin for G3F or the male and female Art Doll morphs by RedEyeCat for Gen4 up to G3. However,I almost never use the textures a character comes with except for anything made by Tempest3d. Now as for the character textures of choice...

Then there are the textures made by Tempest3d, which I love, they are so well made even as far back as the one's for Generation 4. The ALXN Nimmeth by Alexaana, which comes with many options, and finally Danae, of which I like many of the textures and some of the morphs, especially for the males. You will notice that these are made for Gen4, but not if you convert the textures to Daz duf and then you can use them for all the above mentioned.
Great render; I agree the character is a good one. I've transfered the textures to G8 (I didn't know I had, but just checked), and have yet to do any renders; not an unusual situation, once transferred, or tweaked to my liking, I stop rendering. Good for Daz, bad for me.
Ha! I laughed at this; dress is a very generous designation for such a skimpy item. :)
