Mec4d PBS shaders for Iray vol.3 MR Question

I read this is a resource for creators.... MR.

Can it also be used by those of us who simply want to alter the surface, texture of an item in our renders?

If so, is it different from using other texture sets?

    They are shaders so yes you can use them on anything.

    @Bendinggrass, for future reference, anything that states it's a Merchant Resource can be used on your personal projects. I've seen  some skin resource products that only include the base color textures, but the random few I looked at here on Daz today all included bump and specular maps for people who just wanted to render as is.

    The main difference is without the MR license, you can't use a product on a product of your own. (Even with a MR license, some restrictions apply.)
