Beautiful! I love her features. Someone said they are too big for her face, but I know people with similar features and I think they are gorgious.

I think she looks gorgeous, was hoping for an outfit like Jasmine’s from Aladdin but the clothes do look good and maybe a PA will fill the gap :). Definitely going to buy just need to pick out the freebies well.

I'm going to get her pro bundle. She's a great character. The only question is when. She's in my cart with some of the bonus goodies. I'm just hoping for another sale or flash sale on the extra content before I make the order.
Pretty face, but her hands in that one pic on the first page looked really dry. Made me want to go get some hand lotion for my own hands, and I don't use hand lotion!
So what causes the skin to appear rough and dry like that?
I didn't see it if someone already posted this, but here is Kala 8 HD, right out of the box, default Iray skin (no makeup?), eyelashes etc. Sahel signature smile because someone said they wanted to see Kala's teeth. Very minor posing, and BOSS Lighting system.
That's probably a normal map that is too strong. I have noticed a number of Daz G8 Originals have this odd issue with normal maps on their limbs.

I can see that, but in Kala 8 I also get Rebecca Hazelwood (as Asha from Outsourced), and even a tiny, tiny bit Marina Sirtis (I believe she is actually Greek, but still...) as Deanna Troy. It is cool when a character can convey such a wide range of "Looks like...".
I'm totally digging Kala 8. I can see myself using her a lot in the series I'm creating!
Anyone know how long the loyalty promotion is good for? Is it typically the length of their promo?
I would say yes, typically but not always. Not sure if it would go beyond 2 weeks if for some reason the release length between two characters is longer than that (for example, if our next character isn't two Thursdays from now and instead three Tuesdays), and sometimes other events cut the promo period short (I recall this happened with Edward).
Tweaked the shape slightly, but shader is default; I'm really liking her. Just might be my favourite official character.
No idea on the hair, found it; didn't know I had it, never mind knew but just never got around to using. :) The hair seemed appropriate.

Great render (made me think of Telly Savalas (Kojak), probably because of the bald head). She's very well done actually, also the teeth.

Kala 8 is fantastic, imo! :D I think she's one of the best G8 figures to date.

Awesome! I knew I was going to get her pro bundle, but was really planning on waiting until she'd been out for a week. Gave in, just spent way more than I should on a ton of items for sale. I really need Daz to release figures I don't want for the next 2-3 months. But if they keep doing sale options when buying the base I'll have to limit myself to those when it's something I really like.
Yep, it's hard to stop rendering this woman - she's a real beauty, imo. :) One more from me and then I'll try to stop posting so much. lol
Skin has been adjusted with Altern8 and other manual tweaks. Though, honestly, her skin is really great "out of the box" and probably doesn't need any adjustment. But you know me, I will almost always experiment with the skin settings. lol
The character and her hair are amazing. She and Sanjay are by far my favorite characters to come out in months.

Because of your artwork, looked at the bundle a 2nd time to see what I could use.
