Kurt Lundqvist that is damm awesome work there. Love the whole feel of the image.
scorpio64dragon Cool pic, Hogwarts, a part we never saw. ;) One day I will be able to do one of these images. Well i started so something to look forward too when I get a new PC.
OOhh I have a new pic I can post in here *beams a smile*
Used City Ruins 3, with GIa (Neomi morph), David 5 (Sean skin), Fire and Smoke for Daz Studio, Tech Soldier: Special Forces and SciFi Firearms. Probably gonna take another look at this pic and do some touch ups, think it might need that... but I was tired when I did it yesterday *grins*
On Patrol
Gia - This city wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't for those damn rats
David - Aye, but you have to admit... those rats makes for tasty burgers
Gia - Yeah, they do.. specially with garlic and some tabasco sauce
David - *raises gun and shots the rat* So... dinner at my place tonight?
...here's one I had worked on for a previous PC challenge which unfortunately missed the submission deadline (first posting).
Lots of Stonemason stuff here:
NYC Townhouses
City Courtyard
Various buildings from Urban Sprawl 2

'Hot Time, Summer in the City"
Wow, that scene is huge! Nice job combining all that seamlessly! :)
...yeah, fortunately I did all my posing and prop placement first, then added all the buildings in the background. Camera moves became really really slow. Fortunately it doesn't have a tonne of lights (only a UE environment sphere and single Distant light for the sun). This is probably the most figures I ever used in a scene that was rendered in a single pass.
One trick I used was to progressively scale down the buildings as they were further away from the camera. For example the skyscraper with the television antenna on it is only about 40% it's original size yet still looks "big". Using an atmospheric camera I was able to impart a sense of depth to the scene and the feel of one of those hot humid days.

Absolutely fantastic. You've really done a great job making the city look expansive, and you've pretty much sold the content to me. I'll have to track down the other Urban Sprawls (I only have the first one) and put it them to use. Making huge cityscapes is always something I've wanted to do, so I'd better start by removing my excuses against it :)

...today is a good chance to get Urban Sprawl2 as all Stonemason products are 50% off. This is one of my most widely used sets as many of the buildings can be loaded individually as well as a bunch of different urban props (including a couple vehicles) and it works well with his other sets.

Nice scene, sedor! Sure wish I could spare some change for the Stonemason sale. Have to budget my way through the holidays. Maybe next year...
