3 or 4 fingers for Genesis 3 or 8 (male)

Are there any free morphs for Genesis 3 or 8 that give 3 or 4 fingers? I might already have something in the store but I am not sure what terms to search to see if I do or not.

    Is there anything cheaper?

Creating it yourself is cheaper I would say. If you have a 3D modeler like Hexagon, Blender or ZBrush I can imagine it's not a big deal to use a smooth brush on the fingers or change the geometry of the hand to create a geograft that hides some fingers. If you know what to do it may take less than an hour. If you need advice with Blender creating a GeoGraft I may can help you with that.

That is what I thought too.  Might as well make the whole character with texture and all. Wonder how hard it is to make a geographed tail.   While I thought about making the male version I thought of then creating a feminine version named Darine for G8F.  I have access to Hexagon, Blender and ZBrush.

I got it a 4 fingered male kitty elf would be Kurt, the 3 fingered male kitty elf would be Kyle.  The 4 finger female kitty elf would be Darline and the 3 finger kitty elf.  I could do different colors like blue, red, purple, or green.  Maybe have an expansion with feline textures and what not?  Hopefully Genesis 9 will not come out before I finish this project.

Are you seriously thinking about doing it or just kidding?

Realy its not that hard, have a look at those youtube videos they give you an in depth view of how GeoGrafting works. I did know of the first from SickleYield the second is new to me but a great one.

Seriously serious I think.  I am thinking that if I get my self into gear I can make the morphs.  My main concern is the texturing.  Seams are one issue but the main issue is the anatomical elements. I guess I am jumping ahead of myself when I need to start planning the project before figuring out how to do the G8M elements.  I know I need to worry about texturing around the seams before worrying about the elements.

I made a quick test 15 minutes inside Blender and now I got this - see attachment. Its the easier 4 finger GeoGraft version on Genesis 3 Male with Michael 7 texture applied.

I've selected the pinky finger and removed it then I've closed the hole. The selection you see in the first screenshot is the geometry I've added. Next I went to the sculpt mode and smoothed that part of the hand. I ended up with an so called edge-pole where I closed the hole so I've removed some edges with Delete Edgeloop to get a better mesh. Then I've opened the UV/Image Editor selected the extra geometry and unwraped it. I needed to scale it down and used Stitch to append it to the original arms UV island. Before that I actualy pinned the original arms UV island and after appending I unwraped the arm again to get this result.

You see you don't have to worry that much about textures because it will pick up what ever is on the map and the UV seams are not that visible. If you get visible seams that don't match well than switch over to the texture paint mode inside of Blender and use the clone brush to paint it over. See screenshot 4 and 5 for that.

I was in a rush and I forget to turn on symmetry, also I'm not shure how much geometry is needed for the geograft maybe the selection in the second screenshot will do. Next steps would be: invert selection, delete faces, export OBJ, import to Daz Studio and the rest is well descriped in the videos I've posted before.

I posted a screenshot tutorial for a 3 finger morph.  Remember to adjust the skeleton rigging.
