Bruno HD for Michael 8 is listed at one price but the Price History says it is on sale and cheaper. Is the price history legit or just for show??

What exactly do you mean by the "Price History" I see that the product you mention is on Sale but as I am a PC member I will see it at a different price than you do. However I do not understand what you are meaning by the Price History.
Please keep in mind that the price history does not show the current price. It shows the lowest price for the given day.
Please post all questions related to the browser addon in the addon's thread here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1 We cannot guarantee that we read every single thread on the forum.
I think he means the browser addon (not owned by Daz). The latest price history doesn't always match the current price.
The history is quite useful as 'history'. For the most accurate current price, of course refer to the real price above it (since that's what Daz controls).
EDIT: Ati beat me to it. Refer to Ati's answer.
If you are referring to the price history as presented through the DAZ deals browser plugin, I'm not quite sure how that cheapest price is done, perhaps you ask in the Plugin's thread, they should be able to clear it up: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on#latest
Well it doesn’t have to be, DAZ deals
though it’s most likely what the OP means
when I tried AVG it had a browser addon that also showed price history on every site and let me know stuff was discounted on sites I had bookmarked
I installed the DAZ Deals plugin once again after a new install of my computer but the 'Price History' is not showing up when I go to the product page of a product.
Have you checked your plugin settings? you can switch it off and on, maybe yours is switched off? But better ask in the official thread...
