How to prevent erc links from being overridden on custom JCMs?

I notice that on daz created JCM's, when you use the default GOZ settings to override them, they preserve the ERC links.  However on my own custom created JCM's, by default GOZ override will break the ERC links.  I have to manually switch the GOZ settings to deltas only so that the ERC links don't get stomped. 

How can I set my custom JCM's to be the same as the daz ones so that the ERC links don't get overriden by the default GOZ settings?

    Changing the overwrite settings would be my expected method - though it may deend on which property (morph or rotation) the ERC link is saved with.
