Hi, I bought Alexandra 8 https://www.daz3d.com/alexandra-8.

But my lady's skin is dark like soil even I change the translucency or put some lights on it.

How do i make the skin look like that in the promo page?

Please add your render settings and whether you are rendering in iray or 3delight

Whenever you do a render or use iray preview, make sure you are using an actual camera. If you are using the default perspective view, the look of the render will look broken.

    How to setup a camera:

    1. Click Create -> Create Camera

    2. Check 'Apply Active Viewport Transforms' and click accept.

    3. In the top-right of the viewport, change perspective view to the new camera you created.

    4. If you are using your own lights in the scene, also turn the headlamp off inside the camera's properties. Click headlamp on the camera properties and change it from Auto to off. If you scene looks pitch black, press CTRL+L to turn on preview lights which lights up the editor, but wont render in your scene.

Try using her "Translucency Low" setting.

If that's still not pale enough for your taste try turning the "Environment Intensity" up (if you're using HDRI lighting).

Here's Alexandra 8 with her Translucency Low setting and the default "RuinsB" HDRI and default Iray render settings - but with the Environment Intensity increased to 1.5:

Due to the increased lighting, I think she's a bit shiny here, so I'd also recommend going to the Surfaces Tab, select her skin, and decreasing the "Duel Lobe Specular Weight" a tad. .40 should look nice, imo.

    Render outside in Sun-Sky between 8AM - 7PM or a smaller window in it's winter, 1st 1/2 of spring or 2nd 1/2 of autumn.

If indoors you can use this product after buying:

    https://www.daz3d.com/classy-cover-photo-light-set-vignette

Or learn to use the lighting techniques that product or similar uses and set them up yourself for each render. If you search the internet for ShibaShake or SickleYield you will find they have some free tutorials done on lighting in DAZ Studio.
