I'm glad I got the pro bundle as well! Renders like a dream!
When I first looked at the promos for Tasha my first thought was pass, it was the renders in this thread that made me go back and take another look and purchase her, not the bundles though, why buy stuff I don't want or will use and actually the bundles and offers have recently become even poorer. As to the comments about her head being too big, after my first render I thought her head and breasts are enormous but it actually it's just that her shoulders, arms and legs are so thin.
Excellent, additional variety to the G8 species but then I'm no fan of the constant stream of identical barbie dolls some vendors produce.
Regards
Steve.
She uses Tasha's body at 80% and Tasha's head at 66.7% so she looks pretty different without Tasha. Here she is without Tasha:
Keep in mind Constance also uses the Genesis 8 Female Head and Body Morphs, so you'll likely need those.
I'm really liking Constance, though I did scale back her head and chest and widen her shoulders. I'm having fun with the Pro Bundle.
Stunning work!

Not bad... the body looks good...but does lose something in the face without Tasha.Zephyr is gorgeous. I couldn't decide which lighting was better
Next to Olympia7, this is quite possibly my fav character.
Oh damn! She's friggin' hot! Those lips are amazing! they are huge, but they look right on her. She must be a fantastic kisser. LOL! I wish Zephir was a separate purchase from Tasha as I am not all too impressed with the Tasha package. Her hairstyle is great too. What is it? I like the kinky curly hair styles like this and the Miranda style. If you have the Miranda hair style, I would be curious to see your ebony beauty in it.
I am a big fan of darker characters and have a couple vampires in my collection. Un addition to Zephir, I like Constance more than Tasha and she DOES make the perfect 'vamp' lady. But there were too many downsides to the Tasha bundle. I wish there were better outfits. I did end up buying the one asymmetrical dress with the open side. That was too beautiful to pass up. I liked the Eva 8 and Alexandra 8 packages as almost everything in those packages I found a use for. I especially like that open shoulder / pants combo that is featured on the main shot for the Alexandra 8 Pro Bundle.
Agreed on the deal. I wasn't fond of the Tasha 8 package in general and I decided to pass her up even though I do like Constance and Zephir. Some of the clothing items I do like such as the dress I mentioned above, but all in all, I wasn't too fond of the package nor the sale in general. Perhaps in the future I might revisit Tasha but it has to be on a better deal.

Fine looking work.
couldn't take it anymore so purchased Tasha and Zephyr .. after seeing all the fine renders.

Not sure these add anything to the discussion, but my 1st two renders .. concentrating on Zephyr ..
The first is Z with 40% Tasha .. the default for Z.
The 2nd is 100% Tsha added.
Oh ..i tweaked Z just a bit ...
two test renders
Finally got a chance to test Tasha. Her skin looks like FW did it. But it's his best work if so. I'm glad to see another Hispanic/Mediterranean character in the Core group (I thought Charlotte was, and Gia & Stephanie can pass for Hispanic). That Vance Hair really aids the ethnic dimension, imo, Type 0 Negative.
Wow! She looks great there! The P3D morphs (and I’m sure most morphs people already have) make a huge difference! I’m still not a fan of hers out of the box but I’m sure I’ll get the bundle eventually some day when it goes on deeper sale or has better deal. I do really like Hinkypunk’s character for her too but this bundle and deal is not enough to make me jump on it although this render does sway me in a positive way. Sorry Daz but I usually think PA characters and user morph mixes look better than Daz Original characters out of the box...
LOL and I'm the opposite. While some PA's are really good with realisim (hello Raiya, bluejaunte and Saiyaness ;)), I think most PAs tend to make a figure look more stylized and away from realistic to me. But some people really like stylized. I prefer realistic tho...most of the time :). Then again, some use this hobby to escape and want beautiful faces all the time which is perfectly fine. I tend to find beauty even in odd looking faces (melancholy or sadness or whatever) that gets something in me. I think whoever does the DO sculpts does a pretty terrific job most of the time :).

I think several PAs are creating beautiful and realistic characters. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.,. Here are just a few that I find exceptionally gorgeous as well as not cookie cutter beauty but also very realistic. The only DazOs that I personally believe can compete are Victoria 7, Rune 7, Genevieve 7 (with almost any skin EXCEPT for the one she came with!) I’m probably one of the few that liked Genevieve 7 but I think she really has an editorial model style morph that looks great (and different!) with almost any skin texture you put on her except the awful one she came with. Anyway, here are some samples of some PA characters that I find truly gorgeous and realistic and in my opinion better quality and more reasonably priced than Daz O’s... There are tons more in the store from various PAs, but here are some recent ones I find exceptional from Mousso, Addy & P3D...
I agree @Wonderland, those are my favorites as well because I tend to like the more beautiful characters (to me anyway) as opposed to the odd. And I love Genevieve 7 body. I rarely use the base characters as is, so I look for how much I like the add on characters, their bodies and their skins as well as how much they all add to my gene pool. Occasionally I do like the odd and I find Tasha's oddness to be a great addition to my cast of characters.
I never, ever judge a character by what's included in a bundle. Neither should anyone else. They're put together by the marketing department and have no impact on what the basic model, itself, would be like.
With that said, I'm constantly surprised Daz never include the HD shape in a bundle, if not an option to just get it with the figure, as they're usually necessary for convincing close-up pictures. They did for some, like Floyd and some others, which was a wonderful surprise, but not the rest.
Also still surprised promotional images don't typically include at least one bald reference, because hair can completely change the look of what you're actually purchasing and many models are a lot more similar than many realise.
Was in the weird circumstance of needing to spend a surplus of money, this month. So, obtained Tasha 8 purely to use some of the add-ons which I found useful. I really hope she isn't meant to replace Arabella, who has a far more relevant facial shape for female vampiric characters... Tasha gives much more of a generic Stephanie-like impression and can't say I'm a fan of her having that facial blemish, either, which always instantly prevents being able to potentially use the same skin for more than one character in the same scene. Arabella's one of the few official Daz characters I genuinely loved the look of and used her extensively. Tasha's more generic by comparison (and there can be times you require such aesthetics, but I already have several), but she does allow me access to some of the other associated products.
Has anyone tried back-converting her to G3? I had troubles with Zelara when I tried that (cornea/sclera poking through iris when morph was transferred to and dialed up on G3F), so I'm a little leery of picking up Tasha, who seems like a similar facial type.
