Oh look, another pretty basic white girl... yawn. She looks as generic as they come, maybe V8 with a slightly bigger jawline, idk. They all look the same to me after a while.
Not sold on the items, either. But the deals in particular are really atrocious, almost as bad as the ones for Lee 8.
Thankfully, this is a hard pass from me. Saves me a few extra bucks after buying Christian and Sydney last month (at least Sydney brought something new to the table, in that she was visibly middle aged and showed some roughness around the edges), at least.

I don't think she's "generic" at all. :) But I guess that's what being human is all about - we all have different likes and dislikes. I REALLY like Tasha. I haven't been this impressed with a character since Zelara 8 (who's my favorite G8F). I think Tasha 8 might end up being my second favorite.
I look forward to getting the pro bundle and a couple of the add on characters. The add on characters all look great so it will be hard to narrow it down, but I'll finalize my cart after I get some sleep. :)

This character reminds me to Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) from Star Trek Voyager.
All in all, pretty uninteresting bundle. 3 trouser combinations but only 1 dress. There could have been more.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks she looks like Jeri Ryan. The physique seems very Arabella 7 to me. But the characters and hair in the bundle seem like they are maybe not the best thing anyone involved has ever made, and the only clothes in the bundle I liked was L2R.
There's a quite a bit of stuff I'm liking in this new release (and I seem to be on a path to collecting every base G8F character one way or another, so it's either a case of getting her now, or waiting months for an only slightly better price), but dang is the free content in the offer underwhelming.
Small selections, very little of it for G3 or G8 (of which quite a few are texture sets I already have, or are for outfits I don't have and which aren't available in the offer), and none of which is under any other discount. Finding combinations I actually want where I'm not either considerably under or over the values given would seem to be a pain, particularly as I'd end up having to go through customer support to sort out PC coupons not properly applying with free content in the cart. (And last time I did that, I ended up in an extended argument with CS about whether the coupon was even supposed to apply to new releases, because someone had messed up the wording on one of the advertising pages... which still hasn't been fully corrected).
I struggle to believe there's no other DO gothic or horror content they could have offered to provide more variety.
That's what I'm thinking, not so much Lilith's as she is Arabella's replacement. Lilith sold exceedingly well like all the other major reoccuring characters. The only Genesis 3 Female icon that didn't make the "Best of the best" sales list was Bethany.
I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking "How much do I have to spend to get that offer?" Seems like quite a bit if I wanted to get the offer for older gothic props. I believe there is more gothic/dark type props that could have been included in the list of choices.
I agree. There's nothing about her that screams "unique" or "must have". I'd rather spend my $$ on Sydney or Mabel ... IMHO.
I guess I'm the only one that doesn't think her head is too big....lol. In fact, I usually increase the head size on MOST of the Daz DO's (because I think most of them are too small). It could be that her very slender and waifish figure makes her head look larger than it is.
The stuff in the bundles doesn't really do much for me...I have lots of similar outfits and characters. I think I'll go with just the base this time around. I do like her face tho. Kind of Mediterranean or Eastern European.

I like her, I like a couple of the outfits, and both hairs. I really like Zephyr and wish she would have been in the bundle, anyway I like enough of what is there that it's worth it to get the bundle deal with my banner discount
What short hair is that in the promo? It doesn't really look like Rose Hair.

Yeah -- the products in the pro bundle are sort of so so ... and sorry, but we really need some unique poses in the bundles. but why put poses in there anyway? do the textures for the clothes or something more unique to the charaqcter.

BONUS: most of the addon products are under $10, so not as expensive, but it adds up pretty quick.
THE SALE: i dislike these sales a lot...10 off for this, if, and on and on. ...
EDITED TO SAY: the products where you get 10-20-30 whatever off ... nothing really makes me want to buy the pro bundle for those... i guess when stuff is free you just throw it in the cart .. but to me its just stuff that i never wanted or needed anyway. There are a few things in the higher priced category that I've looked at a few times though...so i back track on my statement.
AND as someone is going to say..you donl;t have to buy the stuff ... yeah, I'm covinving myself not to. Never mind.

I would be sad if this figure implies that we won't see a Lilith figure though. But, the strength of Lilith wasn't just about the demon/vampire hybrids. I believe she was just as popular in her pure human appearance as a femme fatale. And while there are some beautiful figures between the "more realistic" G8 figures, I haven't really seen a femme fatale like Lilith yet.
When you turn up/down the two Length morphs (along with maybe Wind 1 or 2) you can get that shape.

To make myself clear:
I don't mind any natural shape.
I don't mind any cosmetic surgery, that has been done for medical reasons either.
I do mind, that cosmetic surgeries without any medical reason has become part of a modern lifestyle.
I do mind, that those obvious looking results has become a exsample of a successful life style and teenager now are saving money in order to have such a cosmetic surgry.
I do mind in this particular case, that this plastic surgery look fashion obviousley influences the way, how artists are designing their 3D characters.
I'm sorry, I just don't like it.
I love the way Tasha looks, and generally, I am very pleased with the variety of characters we've gotten in the G8 family. Of course, I could always do with more actual ethnic diversity and have that reflected in the items in the pro bundle. And since we're presumably getting closer to the end of the G8 cycle, maybe we'll get some fun fantasy-type bases the way we did with Centaur 7.
Wasn't someone talking the other day (in another thread) about 3d females having those puffy injected lips? They were compared to pictures of models who always seem to have those same unnaturally lips as well.
Ugh so far. I didn't buy the bundle, just some outfits and their textures. Tired of vamps, vamp poses, yada, yada. I am disappointed that the Hellen outfit and textures are only 30% off. Aren't they part of this promotion? Why aren't they 51% like all the others?
The only character I picked up was Zephyr. She's a vamp of color plus I like her teeth, and she looks good when 'non vampy'. Although, do they only have one resource for black women? I tend to see those same same lip thumbs and colors in most of the black characters whether vamps or not. Also, I'm not going to buy another figure specific HD addon either. Over it.
But Masterstroke, Tasha 8's lips ARE a naturally occurring shape, myriad versions of which I personally observed in the wilds of urban North America prior to commonplace plastic procedures for poor to middle class humans. Indeed, I know several people who have never had need of fillers or any other enhancement, with lips that are that healthy (read plump) and healthier, including exaggerated edge creases and such.
I'm not into vampires at all, but I like the Gigi Hair, so I'm getting that.
Just snagged her and a bunch of other good stuff, as soon as I saw the promo last night I was sold.
I got her. Just another actor to the arsenal. However, I'm think she is the replacement to Arabella as well as Lilith, but we shall see. However....I got plans for Zephyr! :)
