I have been looking for cables, like those that would plug into a guitar to an amp, power cable from device to wall , etc etc. How many appliances do you see at home that do not have a power cable, or any electronic device that isn;t plugged in at some time, other than battery powered. Big stuff like computers, guitar amps, speaker systems, TVs, stereos, etc have cable.
There is a product that has an amp system, quitar and morphable cables, but I'm tapped for cash right now .... https://www.daz3d.com/wurlie-t-amplifier-set

This might help https://www.daz3d.com/strings
I made one,

that is very cool. too bad it wasn;t a group of different cables and connectors. I see a product in my mind

that is very good. downloaded and will give it a try. I need to start modeling ... but is it difficult to make it poseable?
the later poster did but didn't share his modification
it can be posed link by link I guess you could save those then as presets or do the ERC thing to create pose sliders, I didn't do that but have done it on DAZ people so possible
The free EasyPose Tube, by Ajax over on ShareCG, can serve as a poseable cable when scaled right. It's just a cylender, so it can serve only as cable with circular or elliplical cross sections.
These may work they are easy pose.

And for plug, a free one in .obj format may work well for ya. This one apparently comes with a few inches of cable, which could be removed in an editor like Blender or Hexaon: https://free3d.com/3d-model/trs-25-in-male-plug-v1--991182.html
That site has quite a few different plugs for free.
Super-versatile freebie: http://www.sharecg.com/v/63819/browse/11/Poser/Versatile-Tentacle-Figure
Hi there! Thanks for your appreciation. The reason why I didn’t add cables and connectors in STRINGS product is simple: wires for electronic devices are too thin to draw our attention on their details. That would mean that we can rarely notice the shape of their surfaces in renders or photos, except for close-up pictures. So, I thought those 9 strings might be enough to be able to simulate this kind of wires too. Let me show you some tips that could help you to create any kind of wire. As you can notice from the description of the product, the length of each string is an integer number (cm is the unit of measure used in DAZ). That allows you to extend a string as you prefer, just translating another string along its axis, without breaking their junction.
For example, if you need to create a hi-fi cable, I can suggest you use the “neon” string, and follow these simple steps:
Now you can change their material as you prefer (i.e. glossy black plastic), and you can start using the “Active pose tool”. This tool is really useful in these cases. I also suggest you proceed in stages: start modelling those strings from the first one to the last one (due to their connection, the 1st string drags all the others, but once modelled, the next string will have no effect on the previous one).
