Does anyone know if that other place is also having a giveaway this year? I haven't heard any news about that one yet and wondered if anyone else has.
Not sure which site you are referring to. But it then strikes me now that Rendo is not up yet. Hopefully they will do a giveaway. If I am not mistaken they do it once a week only. Poserfreaks as mentioned above has closed down. Can't think of other sites.

Yes, I was talking about Rendo's Christmas giveaways. Thought that was the only one that couldn't be name that I am aware of...is there more?
There is only one site to my knowledge that we do not allow mentions of. We even let people say Renderotica, but not post a link. Obviously I can not mention the site that we do not allow mention of.
I am pretty sure i have a few other art site links that daz TOS would not want me posting in the forums as well ..lol which the whole thing kind of sounds like a Harry Potter saying. " that which can not be named can not be un done once the name has been mentioned. (or something like that)...Ha!.
It's all so confusing, whatever shall I do, I am doomed to a life of word play and movie quips, such is my lot in life....lol
I'm thinking Rendo must be putting their freebies up soon seeing at there is 12 days left for Christmas.
Daz mods are pretty good at leaving renderosity and other 3d stores links stay in place in the forum, if a person was to ask a direct question about a product a other user has in their render that would be found at renderosity has or if there is a question on products at rendo, as long as its not a competing product. then daz mods are pretty fair with those post. .. I think you get in trouble is when you post unsolicited products , sales events or try to suggest a product that maybe competing with daz market , then that post would properly get removed. . I have posted links in the past in the daz forums to Renderosity freebies if some asked if i knew where to find a certain free item or post a reference to a renderoisty forum post in the daz forum with no issues.
I have never known Daz to remove the Christmas freebies link from Rendo and doubt they would this year if they do get around to having said freebies. I haven't seen or heard anything yet, I'm watching closely though.

I think Tutorial-Café is done unless they are planning something for Christmas Day. The freebies are still available, just nothing new for a few days now.
