Pose conversion mania - anyone gone from V4 to G2 to G3 to G8?

A while back I converted all of my G3 poses to G8 with Zev's excellent converter, but for some reason, many Zeddicus poses would not convert (maybe the file type?). I was thinking about trying to convert my V4 poses as well, but I see that to do that, we apparently need to convert them to G2, then to G3, and finally to G8. Has anyone actually done this and are the results worth the necessity of all those converters?

    Yes, ive done that. It just depends on the pose set. Some wont convert like youve experienced, some will convert and look just ok or not great, some look fine. If you have a set you really like id say go for it. But even then, expect to fiddle with the converted poses to make them like right.

    MCphylyss has a converter that goes from G1,G2 ,G3, and G8  and it's free

    and if you chose the G1 when trying to convert V4 posess that works fairly well too

    Sure, yes I do this often and I like the results. There are some great poses for m4 and v4. I’ve converted thousands of poses, the trick I’ve found is not expecting it to be perfect without a little correction. 

    I especially like to convert poses that we don’t get too often for the current lineup. So I convert those a lot... I prefer to invest my time converting poses I jdon’t already have

    I have done hundreds of V4 poses all the way to G8 too.  The results have been mostly good
