Because I already have some pro bundles, I got this banner today:
So please, enjoy your loyalty discount on a Gift Card*, as well as an EXTRA 10% OFF* today's Debut New Releases when you purchase the Eva 8 pro bundle!
Strategically, that's just plain silly. I can't use the existing store credit (from a previous gift card with loyalty discount offer) on Eve if I buy a gift card, and my loyalty discount is already bigger than 10%, so if I wanted one of today's debute new releases in addition to Eve 8, the best thing to do is not buy it with Eve 8, just buy the Eve and the gift card, then use the "discounted" store credits to buy the other new releases.
Not the first time DAZ has done this particular one.

If you're okay with purchasing store credit (either because you don't have any or want more), then yes, that would be the way to do it, but if you did want to use existing store credit then that 10% is presumably being applied in addition to your loyalty discount.
That sounds to me like Daz have actually reached some kind of compromise that addresses the frequent previous complaints of "This gift card offer is useless, because it stops me using my existing store credit on the order".
... although I will concede that the preferred solution might be if they could make store credit apply, just not to the new gift card (because otherwise people would grossly abuse discounts by buying credit, then buying more credit with that credit, etc, etc).
@Wiz last time the 10% PLUS your Loyalty STACKED. Try a gift card to see what % it might be. Still need to use cash I know but...

Here's what really makes it a weird promo. If your loyalty bonus is higher than 10% and you buy a GC, then use it to buy the Eva add-ons, they're effectiovely cheaper than buying them with the pro bundle for the extra 10% off. In my case, with a 30% Loyalty bonus, buying with the pro bundle means I get the 30% off loyalty bonus, with an additional 10% off that... or, effectively, 37% off the existing discounted price. However, if I buy the GC, then I'm buying with dollars that cost 70 cents on the dollar, so I get 30% off with an additional 30% off that for a total of 49% off. Which means that if you've already got all the bundles being offered, you're best off just buying the Pro Bundle by itself along with a GC and then buying the other add-ons separately, or if you don't have everything in all of the added bundles, just buy the one needed to qualify for the promos you want. Personally I'm right on the borderline, as I have all of the G8 bundles and there are only two of the older bundles that have anything I don't already have left in them, but the numbers just barely work out that it's slightly cheaper to get two add-ons with the Pro Bundle.
