Is that a custom morph for G8M?

I took Floyd and did some dial spinning

  • I probably would not have developed a love for reading if it were not for the comic books Stan Lee was involved with. It was through those reprints of early Marvel issues that I was able to read by myself. He did many children a great service by helping to create all those wonderful characters, which then encouraged us to read everything we could about their adventures. We owe him a debt of gratitude.

A day since I found out and I'm still so sad. My son and I are rabid Marvel movie fans, and looked forward to each of his cameos with so much anticipation. I've been astounded at the amount of fantastic art being done in his memory.

I'm sure they've stockpiled some green screen cameos, and/or they will CG some for years to come. The amazing thing about Marvel to me as a child was that the heroes fought each other! At the time, from a DC perspective, this was unheard-of. I still remember this great issue(s) in which Iron Man and Sub-Mariner battled. So awesome. Stan Lee.

I've been a Marvel fan since their beginning. I started reading comics in the 1950s. I had read some recent news posts saying that Stan Lee might have been a victim of elder abuse, fraud, etc. I thought all this was really sad, and hoped something dramatic would happen to end his suffering. I was hoping he'd find a trusted advocate to maneuver through all the conflicting information and let Stan rest in peace for the rest of his natural life. I was shocked to hear Stan died. But I wasn't terribly surprised. Stan was 95, and had suffered numerous heath threats over the years. I'm glad Stan is at last at peace!

    Excelsior!

I wish I could say I was a marvel fan since the beginning but I read nothing in the 1950’s.  Actually I did nothing until 1983, I think.

I guess it was only within this decade or so I started liking superheroes but have yet to find a good way to read comics for cheap without clutter.

Everyone has their own interests. Everyone starts somewhere. Marvel didn't start until the early 1960s. I started reading comics when I was probably six years old, in 1956.

I was not doing anything in the 1960’s either.  I did read several me comics in the 1990’s but that is as early as it goes.
