Hair selection bug?

I don't know why this happens, but sometimes when I move the mouse over a character's hair in the viewport, the entire hair turns a solid brightly lit color, (I'm not talking about selection yellow) and it doesn't turn off when I move the mouse away.  Changing the selector tool doesn't turn it off.  This usually happens in Texture Shaded mode or NVidia Iray mode for DazStudio 4.10.  It just seems to randomly pop up from time to time, which is annoying.

    Yes, this is a known, intermittent issue.

    Ah, thanks. At least I'm not going crazy trying to turn this thing off.
