How to do a search in the forums

in The Commons

i try and try and rarely find what 'm looking for exactly. the searches result in all sorts of totally unrelated topics coming up. 
Is there a way to refine what is found? 

So if I wanted to find super natural brows ... what would I put in the search box? super natural brows results in all sorts of stuff. ​

    Interesting - I just typed in "super natural brows" (without the quotes) and got this.

    ETA: oops, ignore that - I thought you meant the store as I didn't read your post properly! blush

     Some searches work  better than others - if I get far too many spurious results I'd try a Google search instead, typing "site:www.daz3d.com/forums/" before the search term.

    I think ATI made a browser add on that makes the Daz forum search use Google, and a number of other add ons that make life easier on the store and forum. That thread really should be stickied if Daz is never going to fix the problems this forum has had for years.

    Use google and add :- Daz3d forums to the search string.

    Yeah, I have a bunch of userscripts here: https://civilizationhunt.com/ds/ These are mostly scripts that didn't make it into the browser addon ( https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1 ) One of these is a simple one that turns the forum search into a google search box, basically allowing you to do the search at the top of the forum, but returning the results back on google itself.

    thanks everyone... i will give that google deal a try. I noticed before that if I search in google for something, it pops up DAZ forum stuff. I should think a little bit, might help my query blush
