Max asks, "Would you believe a pdf tutorial and a link to a 60s or 70s music video?"

I prefer seeing it done, as opposed to reading about it being done.

Or you could take a dozen or so screenshots of your next project showing the stages you work at, then post each image with some notes underneath.

    Same issue.

don't really need a commentry can do annotations on youtube

Should work.  Other free choices: https://www.techradar.com/news/the-best-free-screen-recorder

Stezza, making a video tutorial  will require considerable effort on your part, so I feel guilty even asking.  However, it's apparent to anyone with eyes that you have figured out a highly successful, quick, and intuitive workflow when modeling in Carrara.  Can it be shared to some degree?  If so, it would be a shame if it was eventually lost.  Hope you consider it down the road!

I like seeing explanations on a screenshot with a big arrow pointing to the function, accompanied by a written explanation that can be bookmarked easily.  Perhaps preceded by a table of contents.  But of course, to each his own.

Note - I would be grateful for any sharing in any form.  Beggars like me can't be choosers.

Great job on the model and the anything goos texture.

And great seeing Doctor Petterbill.  yes

Oh man, I know I have him in a runtime somewhere.  Have to dig him out and do some mad scientist renders - maybe with Gramps or Star?

    a vulture

  • DiomedeDiomede Posts: 15,026

I think Bunyip could use the vulture for his camel.  surprise

Another wonderful character mesh.  Out of curiosity, when modeling toon eyes for this kind of figure (flattened eyes), do you model the pupil so it can be moved independently of the eyeball?

    yep, in most cases

I modelled one eye with pupil move morphs and just reuse that in most cases for the figures..

which reminds me, I must put a size pupil morph in there as well wink

    A weekend of Wacky Modelling

An FJ Ute... modelled the ute shell but used parts I modelled from my other FJ Holden...

  • StezzaStezza Posts: 7,757

Did some more work on the ute today.. adjustments here and there.. new wheels.. and a tarp.

Happy with the front end and the back end but the middle is meh!
