this recent (what's it been a month?) PA Festival has me worried... I'm sure they'll mark everything I want down to 90% off pretty much the minute I live town for the weekend. ;)
Yeah, I missed on some low marked down items sometime ago because I was working. I am hopeful that some items will be marked down to 90% too, but unlikely this time.
LOL. Purple 'thank you' banner for 25% off a gift card mere days after I scraped the bottom of my 3D budget for 15% off a gift card. Thanks for the generosity, but I'm going to let this one go by...

Ah well, I've just used the last of the credit in my paypal account for this month (admitidly it isn't much) to purchase a gift card. Received my usual two emails with the code number and neither of them work
Now I have to go through customer support and hope that it gets sorted today so I can purchase what I was planning.
Maybe they should change the banner a little: 'Thanks for buying a giftcard with 15% off a few days ago. As our thanks you get a giftcard now with 25% off.' ;-)

Giftcards can only be bought with actual money (paypal or credit card), not store credit or another gift card.

Yeh, great offer but it really feels like DAZ is punishing those of us who rushed out and spent our current DAZ budget on the 15% off gift card just a couple of days ago. It's too bad the one we already bought isn't returnable. Now there isn't anything left to take advantage of the new lower priced gift card.
I think they're basing it on what you've bought overall. For me, I bought a few items (but no gift cards) and they're offering me 18%.
I think that's correct. I bought very very little during this sale, so I got a 15% 12% offer on a gift card.

Daz will send you an email with a Gift Card Code. The easiest thing to do is click on the code in the email, which is also a link, and it should open up the Gift Card page with the code already entered. Then click on the green "Redeem Gift Card" button. The page should reload, but you'll only see a message if there is a problem. To verify the value has been credited to your account, click on the Store Credit link, (third icon from the right in the row of blue icons across the top of the white area of the page—aka the My Account sub-menu.)
YMMV, but even though the gift card may come quickly, I've not yet had it work immediately. Usually I will get 2 gift card emails in quick succession with different codes. The first will not ever work ("Wrong gift card code") but the second one will...eventually (will initially give same error). May take hours. I bought a 25% off card 14 hrs ago and it still will not redeem. Don't know if this is the 'usual' delay or whether I need to report it.
Thanks all for chiming in that the gift card discounts are variable. Although I did take advantage of the recent 15% off gift card discount offer, I'm going to take advantage of the 25% off I was offered since it's like DAZ handing you "cash" to use in the store.
I've always paid for a gift card with a credit card on file and have always received just one email with the gift card code that worked, plus I get another 1% cash back from the credit card provider!
You should report it. I bought one today as well, and the code worked immediately.
That’s an interesting point. I use PayPal for online transactions. Not sure why that would make a difference in the response from Daz, if that’s the case.
man, 25% off is a great deal, mine is only 18%, but I agree, it's free money is you can by in high enough to make a difference.
@wwtravis, I used Paypal for this earlier today and the email arrived (well, the traditional 2 emails with one bad code and one good) arrived in less than a minute. I suggest contacting customer support.
Double check your "Store Credit Balance." I was having the same problem with the second number not working this time and decided to just double check to see if it was credited anyway and it was.
Also double checking, it sounded like you got an email, but the code says it can't be redeemed? Have you checked to make sure it didn't add the credit to the account? I know that the page to redeem does not give obvious feedback that a code was successfully used, and the first few times I thought there was a problem with the code, until I checked and found it had gone through at some point and I had the credit.
I've never had a delay between getting the email and being able to redeem it for credit, but I also have only ever gotten one email, so some other process might cause a delay.
