    I feel the same to a degree, thought it just might be me since I have been here for awhile and seen sales come and go. I expected more from this sale since this one is all about new items. I have spent a lot of time going thru the store daily and know what existing items work for me and don't, so I was hoping for some new, even innovative items that have been absent for so long. So far, not much has jumped out at me.

    With my new highspeed internet I got 2 weeks ago, I have doing more gaming and that has taken some of my attention away from rendering also.

     

    Nope, I can confirm. I've had a $300 store credit for about 2 months now, and I still have about $200 of it left after an entire month of this sale. Just nothing very interesting to me. I'm really not interested in G8 without a way to transfer morphs like GenX and UV utilities like Cayman's, and a bunch of Zev0 morph utilities - and that all adds up when you've already got all that stuff for G3 - and this has been a hard focus on G8 throughout this sale. I've seen a couple of things I liked enough to buy, and a few more I liked enough to wishlist for a later, better sale. But the starting prices were high, the discounts not that deep, and the items not that exciting. 

    There is always another sale.

    Me too.  I spent $23.13, and bought only 1 new item, a PC item that I would have purchased regardless of the PA sale....

    It worked for me. If you have the deal browser on, it's easier to put items on your cart appropriate to the type of coupon being used.

    Summoned Demon Bundle was previously a "Daz Freebie". Now it's fixed, the price is back to $17.47 (30% off)

    That seems logical to me, it's no longer in the "monthly freebie" section, so it should be back at full price.

    There was just a gap where it was still a monthly freebie but the promo had started. That was where the screenshot showing it free came from. I figured they were changing the freebies today when I saw that...

    When I logged it around noon (german time) all the freebies in the DAZ3D Free section of the shop weren't free yet...took an hour or three until they were...

    It was updated for a packing issue, I think, so it may need reminding that it is on sale or it may remember in a bit.

    Thanks Richard.  I had submitted a ticket, and it is fixed now - not sure if they fixed it on the ticket request or if the fix already in process from the packing issue.

    What's up with Rival Outfit and Textures? That makes three updates in a week. The package date changes each time, but no explanation in the Documentation Center page. Measure twice, cut once; or whatever the equivalent is here.

    I had submitted help requests about bugs in both products. The sun shades loaded with a whole bunch of character morphs set to 100%, so they didn't fit. The textures product was completely corrupt in Daz Connect. Sometimes it takes Daz a few tries to get things right. You might see multiple updates. I agree, and have mentioned to customer service, that it would be helpful if they documented these changes in the readme files.

    Sometimes product fixes don't show up as updates, especially in Daz Connect. You just have to magically know that you need to uninstall, delete left over folders, update metadata, and reinstall. If you were the one who wrote the help request and get notified of a fix, you can do all that. But nobody else will know it needs to be done. I have complained multiple times to CS about that issue. It hasn't improved, though. And there is no documentation in the product readme that would even give other customers a clue that something changed.

    I don't know if the failure to show up as a Daz Connect update has to do with the changes being made to data folder files rather than user facing files. It seems sometimes like that might be what is going on. I get no answer from CS about why some product updates never show up as Daz Connect updates. I bet I am missing a bunch of fixes that other people reported and I don't magically know about.

    Twice on the outfit, three times on the textures. The first time for the outfit was for the library thumbnail (the one in the support folder). Didn't have a chance to really try the product yet, so I don't know about any of the problems that were fixed.

    And while we're on the topic of products that aren't acting right, the new character https://www.daz3d.com/ruxandra-hd-for-genesis-8-female does not install into smart content at all when using DIM.  I've tried multiple install/reinstalls on 2 different machines.  I've had a ticket open with support since Sep 13 and am getting nowhere with them.  DIM installs her into the content library where she should be, but the content database for Smart Content has no idea she is installed.

    So the promo page with up to 65% off includes the new releases from today, and the rest are just black squares with swirling circles. And it's been 42 minutes since the store turned over. Anyone seeing products there?
