Topmodel Updo Hair and OOT Hairblending 2.0 for Genesis 3 Female(s)

Do more experienced Daz Users have a work around when using G3 products with G8? 

I purchased Topmodel Updo Hair and all works well with G3.  However, none of the presets for bangs, bun, and tail work when fit to G8.

    here's a tutorial by Sickleyield.  It is for clothing, but works also for hair.

    For that particular hair, do as in tutorial but without figure in the scene (load just hair and switch compaibility base to genesis 8 female), and you have to save the hair as new figure in your library unfitted, then load that one that you saved and fit to genesis 8 from there. Not sure why but every other method left buns and tails not working for me.

    Thank you very much!  My preview icon for the hair is ugly, but it works now with G8.  I sincerely appreciate your assistance! smiley
