  • Argh. I was trying to save money, and now Murphy. Beautiful work as always from bluejaunte.

I like the fact that we're seeing more PA's producing characters who look like real human beings, as opposed to supermodels. Pretty people are fine, but sometimes you want to make an image with a character who looks like someone you might pass in the street every day. I think Bluejaunte's recent releases have nailed the 'this could be a real person', and Saiyaness delivers too. Others?

Beside, I confess I have a soft spot for anyone whose artist name is taken from an Alfred Bester novel ... ;-)

I'd look at her (and I tried) if only the link worked. I've been getting bad links that link back to the store front page all week. It's really annoying.

Deepsea and Linday fit that category, for sure.  I've also found myself with a growning collection of Mousso, ISOTextures, Anain/Akasha and Second Circle, all of whom have been producing a lot of ladies who fall outside the boundaries of the typical DAZ girl.  Really, though, there are a lot of PAs who've been knocking characters out of the park lately, especially when it comes to pushing the age range younger or older, or for simply pusing the lilmts of the mesh beyond what I'd have thought possible. It's a very good, but very expensive, time to be into this weird hobby.

In any case, Murphy went in my cart immediately.  It's so hard to get an open-mouth/closed teeth smile that doesn't look like the model is posing for a fashion shoot, but BlueJaunte has an amazing talent for producing soft, natural smiles that completely transform the face and Murphy may be the most natural yet.

Will get tomorrow; only Yara I don't have in your back-catalogue, but as G3, cant use the HD on G8, not in a hurry to get her; textures look great though.

  • Bluejaunte,

Since you have visited this thread, I was wondering if you have any plans for characters with huge smiles? Maybe Cameron Diaz/Julia Roberts level of smiles? I love all these customized smiles, so I'm a great fan regardless, but I just do not see any believable full-face, giant smiles in the store otherwise.

Thank you for all your wonderful work!

I think Murphy looks a lot to be Misumi's sister:

May just be me but murphy has a slightly rounder face.

But at first i really did not like Misume but she really grew on me and now i think she is an amazing character. I am not overly impressed with murphy because of her similarities but that being said she does have that natural beauty look in stead of the standard "Victoria secrets prety" look.

The skin however looks amazing on Murphy. I'm sure she will grow on me as well.

I also appreciate the fact that Bluejaunte keeps producing more cool characters, instead of disappearing into empty space with a weird popping sound.

These characters are among the best, so one might say they're bester than most. wink

I don't know: it seems like everthing that could go wrong with that name did go wrong.

Sahel's smile is pretty huge. But yeah sure I'll probably do that again, depends on the character and just creative randomness smiley

I don't see a resemblance, other than very generally both being white young females. Thanks for sharing though, everyone is wired a little differently.

another fantastic character, bluejaunte.  time to backburner the project i've been working all week.  :)

have you considered doing a HD morph package?  if you did, i believe it would be so hot the store would burn down.  :)

I've played a little game where made sets of four characters, 2 texture maps x 2 meshes, and asked people to pick out 2 similar pairs. Do this with about 10 sets of characters, and you get a picture of how a particular person processes faces, by markers like skin texture, shade, freckle and mole position, or by shape of nose, eyes, mouth, cheekbones, etc.

I'm tinkering with a face and expression training tool for autistics.

Yes, I do actually have that product and ported it to G3M (via GenX), then also to G8F/M. Forgot to say that that is a great product, too! But I always welcome more smiles, especially HD.

True, it's on the larger side. And yay! Thanks! I'm going to put in a request for a smile with large dimples if you ever feel that as part of your creative randomness. smiley

I do have to say that bluejaunte's characters' HD details--face and body--are freaking incredible. An HD details morph package probably would burn down the store!

What do you guys mean by HD morph pack by the way?

Here's a crazy scifi Murphy showing that incredible Linday dress.

I got the sense you felt it like an attack. It was not meant like that in any way. (Both characters are on my wishlist and Miriam) I could think of a zillion type of scenes where two characters that have (in my opinion) enough similarities to be sisters. No way did i mean that you made a carbon copy or anything like that. They are beautifull because of before mentioned rasons, they are natural beauties you could meet at the mall.

You've done a fantastic job again, BlueJaunte! All your characters are Art with big A. And now Murphy... Top quality and for a fair price.

Oh no, not at all. Of course there's a wide range of how sisters can look. There's half sisters too, I have one and she looks nothing like me.Or even just one taking after dad and one after mom smiley

Her skin is amazing.  The most real world skin I think I've ever seen.  I can't wait to see some big natural toothy smiles!!

  • On my wish list she's fabulous!!!

My first render with her, noisy but the denoised one didn't do justice. I added a displacement map for the feet and also used another expression in combination with her signature smile.

Nice feet displacement, where does it come from?

  • It's one I made. I linked to one version here:

    https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/275696/feet-hd-detail-or-lack-thereof#latest

I have experimented with several since that post. The download is provided via dropbox for the one I linked. I have basically been trying various versions and strengths since posting. I am a huge fan of your work with special regard to the foot morphs you add. I can definately see your fine tailored detail with the soles in Murphy and am a huge fan!

Thanks for the kind words! What you have there looks way better than what I ever did though. I should be a fan of you laugh

  • Ha! Thanks but not at all!! I am not able to create from scratch what you do. I was simply unhappy with many of the many bland looking feet in my renders, none of which are yours. I researched until I found something that worked to my liking and continue to tinker. I am poking around at a very minute part of the overall. You are the master with the skillset to create the excellent basis which I have the opportunity to render!

I look forward to your continued works and am a supporter!
