Dystopian Worker Drone?

So, I was looking through the robots on today's sale page, and found a couple of items for the Dystopian Worker Drone:

But the Drone itself doesn't seem to be anywhere in the store. I even checked DIM on the off chance I had already purchased the base robot, but it wasn't there either. Is there anywhere else to get the base model?

    It looks like it's been pulled from the store. There are already a couple of threads with people voicing their displeasure about this Wishlist chaos and disappearing products, who is going?. Lots of feathers getting ruffled over there. It looks like if you don't already own the product, there's no way to get it now, unless the PA decides to sell it on some other site.

    The Dystopian products which involved Ajax apparently were pulled a couple of days ago.   I missed the last of the Dystopian City blocks.  Almost had them all.

    Well crap. That was one in my wishlist :( would have fit perfectly in my current project at some point.

    i picked a couple of those last dystopian sales.  was one of those i tried to pick up a couple every year. frown

    The "dynamic damage" addon didn't work with iray anyway. I bought it in last year's PA sale. A bit disappointing, because it was those textures that really sold me on the drone.

    They don't work because they're custom 3Delight shaders — all of the Drone add-ons came into the store long before Iray was added to DAZ|Studio. It should be possible (note that I didn't say "easy") to use the supplied texture files to reverse-engineer the effects into Iray material setups. I've had a go at this a few times over the last year or so, with limited and variable success. Maybe it's time I tried again... but there are so many materials settings...

    I love the drones, but yeah, the multiple uv maps for different areas that weren’t obviously grouped made for a really rough conversion.

    Argghhh!!

     

    I wanted that Drone item. I missed a couple of opportunities to get it due to also really great new releases. So nice of Daz to feature the addons several times since it's been gone just to rub my noes in it.

    What with the consistent dystopia themed items it was nice line up.

    They could do with a Last Chance sale before pulling stuff.
