Are you trying under the Surfaces Tab?
I think You can only apply Shaders under Surfaces Tab.
Select the clothing item and go to the surfaces tab. There you will see all the surfaces that the clothing item has to offer. Select the surface you want to alter and apply the shader you want.
Also, remember that you can alter the surface groups without changing the texture maps and you can use the custom shaders. You will have to apply the shader, color, bump, etc. for those.
Have fun, its a great shader pack. I use them all the time.
I went onto the the surface tab and went onto presets however, whenever I apply the shader nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Did you render the scene? Many Iray shaders don't show up fully in the viewport, unless you set the viewport to Iray Preview.
Full presets or LIE presets?
Make sure the item you want to change is highlighted in the SCENE tab, not parameter tab (I screw that up all the time) AND the surface tab.
I remember that a number of Parottdolphin's older shaders don't show up at all until rendered. A spot render will at least show you whether it applied.
Are you first selecting your Base Shader in the product's list? You have to apply the Base Shader first before choosing any of the other options (bump, gloss, pattern, color). And yes, as others have said, with this product and really so many others as well, you may/may not see much altering at all until you do a test/spot render. I love PD's stuff and use them quite a bit, but admit I had sometimes forgotten to hit the needed base shader and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.
