Parenting Two Primitives
For some reason I cannot parent these two lots of primitives together and have them move up and down together. Any help appreciated.Cheers

Is the telescopic part one object or several? If it's one, is it using a morph to expand?
The telescopic part is one one object that uses several morphs to expand. It is a Poser primitive I found somewhere and imported into DAZ Studio! Cheers
OK, in that case I think you would need to give it a Rigid Follow Node (which might, in its turn, entail making the object a figure) then parent the second cylinder to the Rigid Follow Node.

I think the idea was that you can adapt the showen steps to the morphing prop to create a Rigit Follow Node like showen in the video at 4:00.
