Heyas!
so I just got a message asking me what hats were used in the promos for this product of mine.
https://www.daz3d.com/deformers-plus-hat-head
Unfortunately - my messenger thing here is broken. I'm opening a ticket to see if I can get that fixed. So I cannot reply to you directly, dear customer. Apologies!
In the meantime ... about the hats...
This product is old - vintage V4 era. All of the hats in the images are going to be 8+ years old at this point and for figures from generation 3 and 4.. Also because I too am old ;) I only remember a few of them.
The red scarf is from some DAZ pirate set. The hood and googles is from a steampunk set by Barbara Brundon, I think the light straw hat with scarf on it is Aterdecer, though I'm not sure. Red cowboy hat is from one of the two identical cowboy stripper outfits, one is Sinful Nights I think? not sure which I had /used. Blue wizard hat is a DAZ wizard outfit for m3/m4. After that I really am not sure.
The benefit of posting publicly is that someone may jump in and be able to tell you about the other hats in the images.
Good luck!
Lyrra

The Cowboy hats could be from sets by Luthbel as could the peaked army hat.
I didn't know this product existed. Do you know if it works on newer models (through autofit, or something similar)? This would have saved me so much time over the years.
The awesome Sickleyield has Hat and Hair Helper products that look good: https://www.daz3d.com/sy-hat-and-hair-helper-genesis-8
She also has one for Genesis 3.
I don't have them yet (they're on my wishlist) but from the promos it looks like they do a nice job of helping to fit hair under hats. :)
my product was made mainly for poser, and is magnet based. If you can get them to load into DS they load as dformers. iI've had some issues loading poser magents int he current DS, so I'm not sure if this still works or not.
However you may be better off with SY's products which are much more recent and appear to be built compeltely differrently and require much less fiddling on the users side

Thanks both of you. I'll look into the SY product. I may not get it right away, but it's definitely going on my wishlist.
