I know that the thumbs when posed, on my end, with my add on morph on top of the Dwayne default morph causes the rotations to be quite off. Easily fixed in the Joint editor.
To fix the hands you can quickly do this by zeroing out your pose, go to the Joint Editor, in the hamburger drop down menu under the Tools once that the Joint Editor is active go to Edit> "Adjust Rigging to Shape" make sure all the boxes in the lower left corner are checked, not sure why that last one is always unchecked, it should be checked by default and then click the Accept button. Find the Toon Dwayne Proportion ADJ right click on that and choose Edit and then go down to ERC Freeze. That will bring up that dialog. Just hit Accept button and you should be good to go for posing your figure with the Toon Dwayne Proportion ADJ applied. Save your file so you have that ready to use next time until DAZ can release a proper fix....
So here's the quickie, with normal hands. Garrett for M8 at 75%, Dwayne at 25%. Definitely a good addition to the gene pool, just need that slider fixed. I'll try some ethnic mixes soon, have to get back to working on something.
Thanks, RAM, will try that
Girl8 and Dwayne8
Girl 7 for Girl 8, 50% Dwayne Body - 50% Atlas Body - Custom Guy 7 to G8 head transfer (that took me 5 flippin' tries and 6 hours to get right)
Ooh, I like the Guy 7 head on him.
I wonder why Dwayne is so short. That's my only real complaint beside the slider issue. I wonder how he would look mixed in with a really tall figure, like Leo 7 or Elijah 7. I haven't ported those morphs over yet, but could be interesting.
Ditto. For a male toon, i'd rather have had a sexy anime character. I can't say I wanted a popeye looking character, but I got him just the same.
Double ditto. Why can't we have a bishounen anime character?
I like a bunch of items in the bundle, but I'm kinda worried that buying the bundle will encourage DAZ to make another Dwayne figure. The mouth has a weird twist, the height is bizarre, the upper arms are way too short and those Popeye forearms and hands make me shudder. The dial to tone down the arms doesn't put the arms back to normal. Even on Brandon, the arms are still way too off. (I like Brandon otherwise, but the arms don't work. Maybe using some of Dwayne's head morph along with Brandon will work?)
I was one of the many thinking Dwayne was going to be Dwayne the Rock not Dwayne the Toon. Dwayne the Rock would have been bought and downloaded about 8 seconds after I saw the figure.
Sigh.
I picked up Dwayne, and the scaling in the body morph is very difficult to be positive about. I understand the scaling in the full character preset, but if I want to dial a little of the body, I should be able to without the morph changing my character's height.
I like toons, but I tend to drift more towards "more comic book, less cartoon" styles. I originall passed on The Girl 8 because she didn't really have that "GIrl" feel to her, and I refuse to buy any highly-stylized character unless I know for sure a matching opposite is coming. I like to populate my story worlds with both sexes.
That said, I thought Dwayne wsa okay, and might mix well, but then I saw Boris and decided to take the plunge. By grabbing the Pro Bundle, The Girl 8 and a couple of old toon hairs the prices dropped to $33.06 for the bundle, $12.59 for The Girl 8 and sixty cents each for the two hairs.
I only had time for a very quick render to see how Boris and The Girl went together -- I dialed 'em back to 50%, added some toonier skins and hair and popped out a quick 'n' dirty 3DL render. Oveall, I think they go together well enough for me to use them as my bases... until 3D Universe's Toon Generations 3 comes out (and even then, I know I'll be mixing Dwayne and the Girl, and many of Macius's excellent characters in).

I very much like the Brandon figure, and shape. That is very useful. I like the character a lot.
Brandon's er... Tarzan nose, is very distinctive though. Not a bad thing, but, difficult if you want to create different characters with the same sort of genetics but different features.
Crime Stopper Cupid has heard the grumplings about Toon Dwayne 8's criminal undesirability in the forums and decided Toon Dwayne 8 needs a little love.
Here you see Cupid laying in wait at Toon Dwayne 8's Secret Headquarters ambushing Dwayne on sight, although Cupid spares the android C.I.M.A.U..

He already exists...
It looks like it just was accidentally not given an ERC freeze. Until they fix it you can use it by doing a quick rigging adjust after applying it. (Apply the morph, select the figure, then go to Edit >> Figure >> Rigging >> Adjust Rigging to Shape.)
Not that kind of rock, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwayne_Johnson
Looks well made to me... But too "niche" IMHO.
And Genesis8 is too broken to be really used.
I'll pass.
So many hateful and unnecessarily negative comments. Brandon is not amused.
Haha @Divamakeup! The Bounty Hunstman looks great fitted on the chic, too. I really like a lot stuff in the bundle - including Brandon, the Pompadour hair, facial hair, and Elvis Outfit. Looks like lots of poses/expressions will be fun to play with, too. I know a few have mentioned not liking the base's chiseled look (both body and face), but that's one of the reasons I picked up the bundle.
Been swamped the past couple of days with computers busy crunching other stuff, but I'm looking forward to rendering this guy!

I typically avoid pro bundles because they end up being a mix of one or two things I like plus a bunch of items I don't care about at all. But this launch sale was a great deal and the items will be useful. I like the cartoony Dwayne with his square fingers, and I really like Brandon.
I like this guy...
Those are good I need to make an Elvis scene too.
Here is one of Brandon as you might expect to be used in a typical video game scene using the Pro Bundle...
Brandon looks to be a good match stylistically with OIlie, Jonah for Ollie, the Girl 8 crew too. He still reminds my of Will Mellor several renders later but seeing a drawing of a still of a Disney Tarzan cartoon that cartoon also looks like Will Mellor so chalk it up to coincidence I guess.
There was in this thread a pair of renders and one had Toon Dwayne 8 and Girl 8 and the other Guy 7 (trasferred to G8M) and Girl 8 and the Toon Dwayne 8 with Girl 8 in my mind was the better caricaturist's complementary contrasting couple and worked better comically.
Bug in Boris:
a) in that if one doesn't own Floyd 8 and Owen 8 then when one loads Boris for Toon Dwayne 8 3 support files are missing.
b) Oddly the shader materials in the viewport load very very very glossy in Texture Shaded viewport mode but the actual face surfaces, excluding the ears, lips, and eyes are matte
c) The adjust proportions for Boris bug has already been mentioned that I've read about in this thread I think it was too.
I thought I'd have a little fun with the Brandon character. He's my favorite thing in the pro bundle.
Love that one KMommy!
Ah, thanks @RAMWolff! :)
Is that the sound the bills make when you tuck them in? lol
I like the graphic elements and style you used on this one.

I'm really fond of Brandon. It's awesome to see a Disney style male character.
Now, I think someone said earlier in this thread that Brandon has a very distinct nose, which might make it difficult to use him as a base for other characters? Well, I decided to challenge myself to make a new character based off Brandon (turned up to 100%) using only the regular G8M face morphs, and this is what I came up with.
I tried to make him look more like Doomfist from Overwatch (I didn't touch the body morphs, so he's obviously not as muscular as Doomfist). The skin textures are from Kincaid with Brandon's iray settings applied over them (and the Dual Lobe Specular Reflectivity turned down to 0.23).
So cool! But it still doesn't sell me on the character. You could have done this with any character and it would look awesome. Very cool postwork!
