I wasn't expecting a new figure so soon, but glad to see him here. I haven't bought yet because the discounts are not working (I assume they are still working on adding everything to the store). Looks like an interesting pro bundle, and I think that his morphs might mix well with others to create new characters. Not sure how he will "go" with Girl 8, as they made her a little less toony than previously and Dwayne seems more toony. Just waiting for the store to settle down and to see if there is a discount banner before buying, but really liking what I see so far.

Not to my taste at all. Disappointing.
I am surpised they haven't released a male teen character for G8 yet. We have Teen Josie and Teen Kaylee, but no male teen character.
There seems to be something wrong with the sale. Instead of having to buy 4 add-ons to get the discount, it is 4 "Top Toon Items" - i.e. previous characters. Maybe they are trying something new, but it seems a strange way to do the add-ons.
It is 4 toon items from the offerings in the Top Toon category.

Bought him. It’s a great deal if you search for the cheapest stuff in the Top Toons list. He isn’t the delicate elf/anime boy I want but I want to see him mixed with Owen, and I liked Redz’ facial hair and some other bundle products and I’d like this release to do well
Genesis 8 is definitely quirky, though.
Same here, great for the toon fans but not for me. We finaly get a male is it a toon....
I'll probably pick him and Brandon up this week. I'm disappointed that the Pro Bundle doesn't come with the gens, when Guy 7's did. but it saves me a lot of money as I already have a 3rd party solution.

Strange - a lot of people waits for male characters, but when such item appears - just complaints.
Not interesting for me.... I hoped there will be a partner for Zelara; a hot male whit alien add on....... I am disappointed toooooooooo.......

Well! I seriously doubt that I'll ever use that morph at 100%, but I rather like the option to blend him into fgures already in my library.
(Definitely like the hair, too, and the Brandon addon. The clothing has bits that might be useful.)
Kind of the Freak crossed with Morpheus, with a bit of Ivan in the face.
I'm a little hesitant about the pose pack addons, the morph is so extreme that I don't know how some of them are likely to translate to a different base. Some of them do show how they work with G8M, but not all of them.
Have to wait until tomorrow morning before the cart shows the discounts.

Have you added four of the "Top Toon" items rather than the figure add-ons? Usually it's the add-ons for the figure that give the discount, but this time it's the "Top Toon" items. You can get the Pro bundle at a very low price if you add four $5 "Top toon" items to your cart with it.
I'm still trying to decide what to get besides Toon Dwayne 8 and Brandon for Toon Dwayne 8. Brandon looks like Will Mellor to my eyes, I doubt that was intentional though.
How are they not working, Artini? Do you have items from the Top Toon sale?

Just working with him now - very nice. He seems a pretty good match for Girl 8, unlike the Dwayne base figure who doesn't seem to "match" anyone - Daz seem to have an aversion to having matching figures in a lot of the Genesis 8 line so far, which is a shame because where there have been matching figures, they go together really well.
First impressions on Dwayne - much smaller than I expected (I thought the 4' 11" was a typo). Does seem to mix in well with some other figures, maybe best (to my eyes) at around 50%.
No problem - this really threw me too at first because I haven't seen a bundle and add-ons work like this before. Glad you've got it sorted.

I don't do toons and I was hoping for Zelara's counterpart this week. Only thing that interests me is the bounty huntsman outfit. Then again, that one looks really great and versatile.
Disappointed
I'll only get some of his outfits. I don't like the character: His morphs look too cartoonish. He is not anatomically complete. The people at DAZ come up with very weird male characters sometimes.
He looks like a lot of fun, and we get another Elvis suit! Yes!!!

I think it's an interesting product (in a good way). I don't use toons so I'm unlikely to do much with the base figure other than a little dial mixing, but Brandon is a pleasant surprise. He's quirky and interesting and still attractive. I think he'll make a really good addition to the gene pool for realistic characters. I'm interested to see some Brandon mixes.
There are some nice items in the pro package. I like the outfits. Even the Elvis one. I can't imagine ever seriously using it for anything, but the individual parts look good, and could be great with some shaders and kitbashing.
Even though toons aren't my thing, I think there's some good male content here, and we keep asking for male content, so this is good. And some of the promo images are so fun that I kind of want to play with some toon renders just for kicks.
I hope there are more Brandon-like add-ons in the pipeline.

But, I'm in no hurry for a Lee 8 Pro Bundle because I have no use for Kung Fu fantasy outfits, ninja poses, or anything else like that. Same with Mei Lin 8: Mousso's Asian ladies are a lot more useful to me than a Pro Pack stuffed with, I don't know... "Battle Kimonos"?
I think that Brandon is my favourite character in the pro pack, but I can see some uses for Dwayne either alone or as part of the gene pool.
