This is a really old hair figure that I really like but could use an updated version. Does anyone know of something similar for G3-G8?

YOu would need to manually fit it to G8F but that is little issue. Jus parent it to the head of G8F and you're done . If the figure is NOT standing in the default position, still parent and then zero the XYZ trans and Rotation for the hair.
Thanks fo the recomendation. I'll take a look at it. I tried to use OOTs Anne Hair, but it comes out to thin and transparant.
Can you move the hair (left side) out of the way with Katharine hair? So it doesnt fall over the eyes too much?
I don't think it's going to quite deliver the look I'm looking for which is a side part with the hair brushed over.
Yes, the hair has lots of movement.

You could also take a look at Shanni Hair (available at Renderosity). I've used that a lot lately and really like the options it has for morphs and control.

I think may not longer be available. Searched for it, but does not seem to be there.
You did, in an idirect way. I took another look at the hair I had from oot. Originally, it render terribly, but by tweaking the transmap, i'm getting beter results and might be able to use it till I find something closer to the Kyoko Hair.

This would be a nice update for another older V4 hair I'm using....
A little too wavey as the look I'm going for is more straight hair with the comb over. Nice thought. Kind of a Superhero look....
A lot of older hair is more realistic in terms of proportion, while looking a lot less realistic otherwise. Comes from the geometry, I guess, which is now built from tons of strips. One side effect of this seems to be much more bouffant hair - if you want kinda plain, straight, glossy type hair that renders as nicely as newer hair, you're kind of out of luck.
Agree. That's exaclty the kind of hair I'm looking for. Impossible to find.
