    Non-complaint:  I went out for lunch today.  Ended up in local mom & pop restaurant and had a big juicy hamburger & cottage cheese (old person's french friesfrown).  I had a momentary weakness and considered getting a dessert.  They had cheesecake.  I thought of McGyver. indecision

    ...who knows? With the way band names go today it probably could be the name of some local group. Hmmm, Lenny and the Liverspots, sounds like it has potential for the cheap motel lounge circuit.

    i took the bus all the way to tattoo pace, and i actually walked in the door.

    i aid i didnt wantblack or the muddy green,  he said i should get black outlined cuz its carbon based (the carbon based unitssmiley)  i said i wasnt worried bout longevity of the tatt.

    made appt for next week, gettin 5 sets of the flutter wings done, all in 1 visit.  i'se excited

    and he said he'll sketch somethin from the dragon images i showed him.  need ro decide where. i want it.  want to be able to see it.

    enlightenedshould render vicki to decide where to put em  lol

    ...well congratulations on completing your 60th trip around our central main sequence stellar primary. That puts you in the "interstellar club" (based on multiplying the orbital circumference times years and stretching out the results in a straight line).

    Now, it's more like 80.  And that's after doing some stuff to get my weight down and things.  A year ago, my resting heart rate was around 100.  I wasn't happy with that.

    +1 My 76 is better than my 60.  I get by with more outrageous things.  My daughter ignores it and says I'm just a harmless, senile old woman.  It's so hot and dry here that I better do my naked rain dance tonight--full moon, you know.

    So what is your pain tolerence ? Tat over boney area PAINFUL ,tat over muscle or fat not as painful ,I've got a Phoniex on my right hip wasn't bad at all except where the head went over my hip bone that made me sit up staight and go WTF!!! The only thing I would change would be to move it to the front of my thigh where I could see it ,cause now I forget about it and have tried to scrub off that "dirt" a couple of times before going "oops duh...." Oh and black outline looks good not over powering like thee "old Tattoos "that the sailors got

    According to my oldest I've been out rageous for years,which is pretty much why she avoids me ,my son and my youngest think I'm just nuts ........ but that's okay. 2 out of 3 isn't too bad

    ...senstive skin here. Never got and never will get a tattoo. I begin to itch just seeing at a box of Tide or house brand laundry soap on the store shelf. I have to use expensive non scented, non allergenic soaps.

    I'd say"  different strokes for different folks " I got my tattoo as a symbol of survival of a bad first marriage ,wanted to get flames around it after the second marriage proved to me that I had no taste in men ,but too much was going on at the time and later I figured I can't see it why bother . Really glad that I didn't have sensitive skin though ......sounds like a pain.......

    ...yes it is. I have to wash new clothing several times to get the "sizing" chemicals they use washed out.

    ...without stepping across TOS lines, the "bottom line" is electric heating is just not as efficient as gas, oil, or *gasp* even coal. I grew up in a home that had an old coal fired furnace and we never froze in winter. We later transitioned to gas and it was even cheaper than coal plus was always there when needed. Every place I lived in that was all electric cost a lot more per month to heat and didn't heat the actual volume of air so there were "cold spots" in many areas.

    The target is where you should be when exercising in an aerobic state, not when you're resting.

    Electric works just fine to heat the air directly.  But you do have to crank up the voltage, and learn to dodge the bolts of lightning, and not grab onto any water pipes. devil

    Complaint:  I wanna do something interesting, go somewhere far, today but my funds are short for two and a half more weeks. sad  Guess I'll just have to satisfy myself with a lunch at a "Texas Hot" joint.  I haven't been to a movie in months and months.  There's nothing worth shelling out over $11.00 to see, and I get ansy having to sit for two hours -- which is just a bit longer than my MTBBB (Maximum Time Between Bathroom Breaks).  Much more convenient to find a movie on YouTube or NetFlix and sit in my comfy chair and use my pause button as necessary.

    I was afraid of this,... last weekend I drove 465 miles round trip to the Renaissance Faire and I've rekindled my wanderlust.  I can't afford a wanderlust anymore. frown

    Non-complaint:  I did have a micro-adventure yesterday though.  I drove 5 miles to the best local fruit stand and bought a half of a watermelon and a half of a cantaloupe.  Both were perfectly ripe.  Mmmm, so ripe, so sweet.  Mmmm. smileyyes

    Query:  Where do baby seedless watermelons come from??? surprise

    AARGHHH:  Major Complaint:  Not only are my funds tight for the next 2.5 weeks, but I just discovered a now overdue unpaid dentist's bill for nearly $200, hiding in my "Need to process" cubby hole. crying

    Non-complaint:  Cheap mini-adventure coming up next weekend.  The yearly "Ellington Town Picnic" https://www.ellingtontownpicnic.org/schedules.html again excites this area with its candied apples, baby contest, fireman's BBQ chicken dinner, woodcutting contest, cotton candy floss, pet show, parade and "Corn Hole Contest" (I kid you notsurprise).  It's the town just 5 miles north of me and has been exciting this corner of the county annually for a hundred and thirteen years.

    ...non 'plaint: comfortable 80° currently but early in the day yet.  Was actually a bit dryer and cooler last night with more than a slight breeze so slept a lot better than I have the past week.

    August promises to begin with more reasonable seasonal temps for this region (upper 70s - low 80s).

    ...or hope the curtains or nearby furniture doesn't catch fire and the place burns down.

    Always been my fear with electric in-wall and baseboard heaters, particularly in those cheaply built wood frame and particle board apartment buildings like we have out in the burbs.

    Complaint:  Got fruitflies with all the fresh fruit brought into the house recently.  frown  What's worse is that they look just like those little black floater specks inside my left eyeball.  I don't know whether to grab at them or not. indecision

    I think I'll just put out a piece of ripe bananna on the sink and wait until they all assemble for the feast and then capture them all at one time. enlightened

    ...ugh drosophila. Had major issues with them in my old flat even though I kept rhe kitchen clean and never left food out. Would have thought all the web spinning arachnids that lived in the place would have kept them, flies, and clothing moths in check. Lazy 8-leggers.

    ...cornhole is a Midwest game which involves tossing beanbags at an angled board with a hole in it. Scoring a cornhole (having the beanbag go through the hole) is 3 points. Landing a bag on the board is worth 1 point. A match usually goes to 21 points. It is usually set up with two boards opposte each other a specific distance apart. I'd google it and provide a link, but am away from home and entering this from my phone. (hence any typos)
