Bang Bob Hair videos - gotta complain

I was so excited about this hair primarily because it comes with videos.  See, I just started using dforce so tutorials are most helpful.  Maybe it's my age but I cannot stand video with ridiculous music instead of a proper tutorial,  As a matter of fact, when I come across video tutorials that have stupid disco, techno dumbass music I probably give it a dislike, thumbs down and put it on mute and try to follow along.  I opened up the first video and I'm sorry but it's a thumbs down for me, would prefer a .pdf instead of that disracting music.  I am on the verge of returning this.

I have both products and haven't looked at the tutorials

I waited about buying the first hair; best hair ever, so this one was a no-brainer, and bought immediately.

There is a PDF; same folder as the hairs. Seriously hard to miss the PDF links. :)

I saw the pdf, but the video is still unwatchable - to me anyway

Oh gods yes, that music is terrible!  I don't really liek video tutorials any way and coupled with that 'disco beat' mans I am not going to be watching these!

Is the vendor trying to talk over the music, or is it just music?  I have the hair in my cart, but I won't get it if I can't watch the tutorials.  I like a quiet background with only the vendor's voice.  I don't really care if there's a pdf, it's not like watching a video and visualizing the process as it's happening.  Preferably by the vendor as long as I can understand their English.

It's no voice just music.  But @sapat, don't let that discourage you from the hair product because it looks really good. I don't know what I'm doing in terms of dforce so I was happy for the video. It's my personal preference to have instructions with voice not somebody clicking all over the screen with loud music.

Hi, we didn’t pay much attention to music ( since everyone can mute it... ) , we are not native speakers, so the best way how to make tutorials work seems to write instructions. Do you guys have any suggestions on what kind of music you ‘d like?

@Linday, I'm going to apologize.  It didn't occur to me at the time that you might be non English native.  You guys went through the trouble of including several videos with your product.  I can totally mute the sound.  Please continue your great work.

Doesn't matter what music you use; there would be more unhappy than happy with your choices as everyone's tastes differ to greater or lesser amounts.

Great job on the product; I love both hairs and am looking forward to some more. :)

I don't like music in tutorials either. They are probably trying to hide background noise and such but the occasional background noise is not that bad but incessant noise like traffic, dogs, cat, others speaking should have one re-evaluate it they should be giving tutorials at all.  Those people, if motivated could use a proper sound filters or convert their speech to CC captions and leave out the sound.

If there are no spoken words can’t you just mute it? If there were words I can understand why music would be undesirable but if there are no words muting seems easy enough...

The tutorial makers probably don't realize that videos don't have to have sound. Some TVs and video playback devices are insistant on having a mute symbol that can't be hidden and doesn't go away on the video portion of the playback which can sometimes block view of what needs to be seen on a video.

If you show a video with no sound at all, people often think there is something wrong with the audio. Music or some audio track ensures they know there isn't a problem with the video.

So once you figure out there is no spoken word there are options to turn off the sound or lower it a lot.. and there is a pdf, seems like the pa provided options.

I agree with this if the product being sold is a tutorial. When it's something a vendor throws in to help with the product, but not required, I just appreciate there's a tut.

Well, I see it the opposite way, a vendor selling the product has more reason to create a tutorial that is professional in appearance and information than a hobbyist being friendly and polite.

And anybody that's watched more than a couple of tutorials quickly loose their expectation of having sound once they encounter one done correctly using no sound.

There is nothing unprofessional about music in a free tutorial.

The PA has explained why the video is the way it is, and since there is no spoken commentary there is a simple solution in hitting the myte button. The thread seems to have served its purpose, so it is being locked before it can get fractious.
