What about those of us who render MEN, darn it?

I'm a romance novelist. Most of my renders involve MEN. I need CLOTHES for them.  What's the deal? I haven't seen anything good for guys in God knows how long.

Grrrrr.

I am pretty new to the forums but isn’t there a feature/product request forum? What are you looking for? Eg modern, historical, fantasy etc.

At this point I think daz should make a sticky with details of how users should make requests and the issues related to men’s clothing. We have thus far really not had much of an official statement and I think at this point it would be helpful to gauge people’s expectations on issues related to men’s products.

The simple solution that would plaese BOTH sides would be texture packs for existing clothing. There are only so many types of men's clothing. Creating tex-packs for existing ones is a cheap and viable option.

Other threads would be the long running Michael and friends thread which does sometime have the men featured in it clothed, or the WIP thread for the "Its Raining Men" challenges in the Art Studio.

Except that texture sets sell less than the original item, and male items don't sell much in the first place, which is why PAs don't make more...

Granted, they would take less time to make than a full outfit, so some vendors might be interested to try.

Another useful thread might be https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/65357/formerly-male-content-creation-thread/p1. If you learn how to make your own male clothes, you won't spend years asking for items that don't get made. On page 12 of that thread I list a number of tutorials for beginers who want to use Hexagon for modeling. There are a lot of other programs you could use instead of Hexagon, and there is a lot of useful information in that thread which can be used with whatever tools you have.

    Clothes?

Most of mum's books the guys wear very little - to show off their chests.

Since the thread was clearly going to be a rehash of the views and arguments from a very recent thread it has been locked and trimmed. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/261541/rip-men-content#latest
