Daz and CMS - Daz crashing when saving props/assets (update)

I made a thread a while ago about Daz crashing when trying to save Props/Assets:

I've installed PostgreSQL CMS, and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Firstly, I just wanted to check if anyone could save props and assets WITHOUT having PostgreSQL CMS being installed. 

Also, what is the PostgreSQL CMS for (there's also a "from Valentina CMS Conversion")?

    Valentina was the old CMS database engine. It was abandoned in favour of PostgreSQL. The conversion utility migrates the old Valentina data to PostgreSQL. If you've been installing without PostgreSQL, now would be a good time to run the conversion to preserve the metadata for those products.
