ISO props and stuff for graphic novel

I am starting this thread to find random props and stuff I need for graphic novel.

First prop set I need is something like an orange carton.  Maybe even some oranges.  Actually looking for a complete breakfast with cereal and this juice. The first scene in the graphic novel is the main character eating breakfast of cereal and a fictional orange like fruit called a Sânge fruit.  That is an important fruit in the story.  It looks like a mix between a blood orange and a grapefruit.

I need to go for a meeting but will expand on it later.

edit I can make some of the stuff in hexagon or blender but rather cut some time as my goal is to be finished with 30 pages by August.

  • For actual round fruits, I tend to just use primitives. Make a ball shape, give it a seamless texture with orange, create a seamless bump map (oranges aren't very fancy in terms of bump), maybe add a bit of a flower prop for the stem. Canteloupe, watermelon... any vaguely round fruits are good with primitives.

    I'll have to think about breakfast cereal...

    In case you haven't checked this site already:

    https://poserdazfreebies.miraheze.org/wiki/Food_Resources

    There's also ShareCG's and Renderosity's free sections, although you need to register with those sites.  There are other free sites as well, but those are the three that I check regularly for freebies.

    Note the usage rights of any freebies that you may download.  If you are looking to 'sell' your graphic novel, either via Patreon sponsorships or in some other fashion, you'll want to see 'Unrestricted Use' and/or 'Commercial Use/Renders OK'.

    I'm assuming that you mean an Orange Juice carton?  There's a very nice modern style one in maclean's Everyday Groceries 2 https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-groceries-2 ; If you meant a box filled with oranges, the same vendor has one in https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-fruit ;

    That said, my normal fallback for fruit is usually Exenem's fantastic Fruits set over at Renderosity.  They're labled poser but convert to Iray well and have the advantage of incluiding full and halved versions of most of them, as well as sliced and even pulped versions of a few.  Unfortunately, both the whole oranges and grapefruits are whole/half only, so if you need sliced or segmented versions, you'll have to look elsewhere... though a lemon slice or wedge from any of the alchoholic drinks sets could easily be tinted to the right color.

    Yes I meant Orange juice carton. Of course the Orange Juice carton is in the every day groceries pack I do not have.

    Did you mean Exnem?  I got that vender's hamburger pack.  Wonder how hard it is the turn that hamburger into a veggie burger?
