so i have all this stuff in my cart all discounted up and stuff, and now a FLASH SALE of bundles ... 60% off. GEEZ .. I cant afford all of this. what to do????

not overspend? not buy the things you don't really need right now, since there will always be another sale?
maybe sort by lowest to highest price on the wishlist. I dunno. That's what i do. Unless something is just so incredibly cheap I can rationalize just buying it to have it.

some of the stuff in the Asian sale is coming in at 93% off in my cart...very hard to pass that by ... and thus, I will pass on the Bundle Flash Sale
I used to collect a number of G3 items, preferably with G2 compatibility as well. But I've since settled back in the G2 realm, not bothing with any sale less than 70 percent. That takes discipline, and an account hemorrhaging on university bills.
I agree. Meilin 7 Pro Bundle is 92% at $11.34 and Meilin 6 Pro Dundle is also 92% at $11.34! Very nice deal.
Yet another Flash Sale that comes at the wrong time for me (I don't get paid until Wednesday). This would've been the ideal time to get Edward 8, oh well.

Yes. I feel your pain. Every once in a while I wonder what if I had just stuck to Poser and V4. I even bought a whole new computer just for DS that I can't afford which prompted me to buy an Oculus Rift on sale during Black Friday, so even though I'm broke, I'm kinda happy with it all. Now I need to start making more money to justify it all though! And this addiction at least can lead to positive results unlike pretty much any other addiction LOL.
...I feel the same here. Too much fantasy and skimp clothing I'd never use. About the only useful components are poses and hair which I can get separately. Did almost pick up the Tamra Bundle Though 3DU's store often goes on Flash Sale so I can wait to get the base character. She'd work so well as the base for my character Leela's best friend, even has the right style hair.
I still wish they'd bundle the basic G2/3/8 morphs together for each gender like they did for the original Genesis. You really need at least the head and body morphs to make any of these characters useful.

I've been waiting for a good sale on Monique 8 for a while. Yet Girl 8 and associated freebies have been in my cart for a few days. I don't know which to pick except that getting Monique 8 would be a bit more budget friendly for me at the moment than all the Girl 8 stuff in my cart, especially with my PC+ coupon. I could wait for another sale on Girl 8. I like and would use the items in both of their pro bundles.

Funny how the timing was perfect, I have a project where I need the male genitals and low and behold a pro bundle sale, LOL I went with Owen because I already have the base and HD addons for Edward and Michael 8 and while i wanted the Floyd morph, the rest of the bundle was useless for me. The Owen bundle had more clothing options that are actually very useful for what I have been working on lately and with a coupon was just under $35, so that is well worth it iMO, thanks DAZ!
Damn, now I can never say I have never bought a Pro bundle before, aw man..
And now you'll start getting more orange/green/red banners with discounts you won't be able to resist. It's a slippery slope!
I grabbed Edward 8 pro a couple of weeks ago, and doing the math it looks like he's a buck or two cheaper in the flash sale. Not quite worth bothering customer support over...
Mainly I'm just pointing out that if you were considering the Asian River Bundle that it's cheaper if you buy everything separately. The scene set isn't part of the sale, but it seems to be getting a discount from somewhere. The characters and poses ARE part of the sale, for a bigger discount when purchased separately.
I hadn't given the Asian sale serious thought until I saw this thread, now my cart is stuffed with Asian stuff... as for the bundle sale, I'm kinda 'bundled' out at the moment, but am poking around.

LOL, I'm not to worried about it, I am a pretty pateint shopper and can usually resist temptation......usually.........sometimes..............
...I only ever purchased two Pro Bundles, the one for V4 when I started in this, and YoungTeens5 (the first on a MM sale, the latter on a glitch). I only have the M5/V5 pro bundles by default as they came with an upgrade to Carrara. Other than those, I only purchase the base characters and what content I like for and will use with them.
Of all, I feel the YT5 bundle was the best, two characters (Justin and Julie with clothing, poses, and hair for both), no fantasy stuff, and no skimp as that would have been extremely inappropriate. Also got the Teen Expressions expansion as a free bonus.
Claiming you own only one is imo better; bought one you liked, but can show restraint. :p
restraint ... what does that mean ?
it means, turn off the computer, go outside, breath in the fresh air, see the birds and other little critter scamper about. Go take a walk, stop and smell the roses, say hi to your fellow man....................then go back inside and make some badass 3d imagery, LOL

It's funny, my apt has a sweet courtyard with a nice size lake and lots of trees. last week I took my tablet with me and sat down in the shade and opened up DS and started working in the midst of nature. A couple walked by and asked what I was doing. When I told then working on PC graphics on my tablet, they gave me crap, saying it was a beautiful day out and I was looking at a electronic screen instead. I took offense at first, but they were right. It;s nice to be unplugged from the world for a little while.
more cash to spend on stuff you prefer.
Thankfully, I have all the bundles I want and nothing new has interested me much lately. My bank account (and husband) is grateful ;)
