Same here...loaded up the cart, entered the code, and got "not valid."  Sure enough, I went back to the main page and the banner had disappeared.  Oh well...

This is an error on DAZ's part. When you say MST instead of MDT you're saying "not adjusted for Daylight Savings Time" so technically the sale should be available for another ~15 minutes.

Me too. Between having slow internet and a busy life (plus kids swan diving off porches!) I missed three great flash coupon deals today.

Me too.  And I won't bother again.  I didn't need any of it but was considering picking up a couple of the more expensive things one my wish list.  Won't be bothering with this kind of crap again.  20 minutes of my life wasted.  So not worth it.  Pretty much sealed the deal on my spending here for quite some time to come.

Me too. Had some stuff in my cart, clicked to purchase, and too late.

Technically it won't be 5PM MST for another 5 minutes.

I'm in Arizona, and we're on MST because AZ doesn't do DST.

Y'all are right r.e. MST vs MDT

Someone should educate the person(s) doing the Daz banners about the proper abbreviation when Utah is observing Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

I do very much appreciate them posting an end time at least, and wish they would do this more often.

They should thnk about extending the time of these flash sales or at least repeat them a few hours later for those people who are in bed when the flash sales usually start. The PC+ one was at 1am where I live.

Dang, wish I had noticed this. Been wanting to pick up some OOT hair and 70% off would have definitely lured out the old credit card. Oh well, next time.

E-mail notification of the new sales is built right into the browser addon. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1 Using this, you can see the emails of new sales starting even when you're not at your computer. Perfect for these short sales, when you have to be really quick.

Flash sales and coupons are often after 11:00am, just visit the store everyday.

Yeah. That's kind of a bad start for people in Europe. By that time we're mostly done with the day's shopping, and then boom, there's a new, better deal. I can only imagine that this adds a lot of extra work for customer support.

When you know it you should purchase nothing expensive before the afternoon (Europe evening).

Sure. I'm used to it by now. :D That's one part of the strategy. There's another part where I need to buy immediately, no matter what. :D

Yes, that's how I became aware of the sale 2 hours before it closed. What I didn't realize at the time was that the site programmers couldn't tell the difference between MDT and MST, rendering the "UTC-7" part inaccurate. Some of us have jobs and can't immediately fill a cart.

That's a great feature, but sadly I'm one of those remaining weirdo's who doesn't have a smartphone. laugh If I'm looking at my email, I'm at the computer.

Some day I'll join the current century.
