Just look at the other thread:

It allows you to both create morphs for daz/poser characters and create stand-alone sculptures independent of DS/Poser, It's also a tool that is used by professionals in the entertainment industries from movies to video games! It is also the one of the only paid 3d software (That I know of) that has free updated versions of the program!
It has so many functions it is hard to outright say exactly what ist does but in a nutshell, one of the most potent modelling programs in the industry used by many 3D Industry professionals from movies to gaming.
Fibermesh!
ZBrush is a 2.5D/3D sculpting/painting program targeted toward artists and sculptors that handles highly dense subdivision geometry (millions of polygons) very well (even on modest hardware), and is especially good when used with a pressure sensitive pen/tablet (Wacom). http://pixologic.com/zbrush/features/overview/
There are many features in ZBrush that assist with 3d modeling, decimating, retoplogizing, and baking textures and normal maps etc. There's also a GoZ plugin that transfers models and textures (round trip) between Daz Studio and ZBrush, which is a common workflow for many content authors... https://www.daz3d.com/goz-for-daz-studio
If you want to get a taste of ZBrush, try using Pixologic's free / simplified app: Sculptris... http://pixologic.com/sculptris/
Many people share or sell addtional Brushes/Alphas (for painting specialized geometry and sculpting unique shapes), MatCaps (material captures), and zTools (which are basically drag and drop 3d models, such as base meshes, that can be further edited) for ZBrush.
Also don't forget about ZBrush Core as it's muuuuch more inexpensive at around $150 whereas ZBrush itself is now nearly $900!...Fun fact; sculptris tech has been incorporated directly into ZBrush itself!
