Happy Mothers Day! I'm so blessed to have a strong family. Thank God for people that care about you and for you. I am becoming increasingly aware that having parents and family that love and care for you is not common for everyone. I just wanted to say stay blessed! Love you all!

    Hey good thought thx :)

Interesting that you're showing a clip from the Sterling, NY Renaissance Faire ( http://www.sterlingfestival.com/ ).  That's the one I've gone to ever since I moved back to NY.  I used to go to the one in Maryland ( https://www.rennfest.com/ ) when I lived in Washington DC.  I don't dress in costume anymore, but I still enjoy an ancient person's totter with his cane around the faire sampling food and wares and admiring the costumes and the talent of the dedicated players.  I sit a lot between totters, and three hours is about all I can survive but it makes a full day of diversion.  Three hour drive, three hours at the faire, three hour drive home. yes

Non-complaint:  Up for a little mysterious music?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frtauE6zkfI  Rimsky-Korsakov: "The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh" (particularly the 1st four minutes)   What is the legend of Kitezh?  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitezh

..sort of in similar vain to the legend that Claude Debussy penned his famous prelude titled La cathédrale engloutie.

Ah, yes!  "The Engulfed(submerged/sunken) Cathedral".  That was one of the pieces I could play at one time.  Slow enough for me to sight read.   I enjoyed getting lost in the immersive sound of it.  Particularly when played on a fine piano. yes  And especially after tooting a doobie.  surprise  Thank you for reminding me of it.

Complaint:  I pride myself on keeping an accurate spreadsheet of my finances daily.  Yesterday I came up $10 short in my "Cash On Hand" column.  i.e. I had $10 less in my wallet than my spreadsheet said that I should have. indecision  No idea where it went to.  I looked and looked and thought and thought but finally gave up and entered an "UNKNOWN" line for $10 in the "Cash Expenditures" column figuring that I'd been shortchanged by one of the clerks.  Today I went uptown, went to three places, lunch at KFC, then picked up a sub sandwich at "Subway" for dinner tonight, then stopped in at an ice cream place for a sundae.  I paid cash and have receipts for all of them.  I get home and enter my receipts into the spreadsheet and I'm $5 under in my "Cash On Hand" column. frown  i.e. I have $5 more cash in my wallet than indicated in my spreadsheet.  WTF! surprise  I've apparently been slipping in and out of the Twilight Zone. indecision  But, there's still another $5 unaccounted for, and it's driving me crazy. crying  I'm beginning to suspect that I have a micro-dimensional portal in my wallet that cash slips in and out of sporadically.  Kind of like the one under my bed where socks and things migrate to.

I'd like to have one of those portals in my bank account...one way in only, though!   cheeky

I think I have a micro dimensional portal that brings the sock eating monster from the Xanite galaxy to my room.  Sometimes they do not eat the whole sock.

Take solice in the fact that most of what they're talking about is of absolutely no importance.

I never know what people are talking about (not a great listener, really), but I find nodding and smiling works well. smiley

It does not bother me.  I have a TV and it can connect to stuff but with the arrangement of my room it is in an awful spot.  I want it moved but I do not know how to hang a tv on the wall nor want it moved quite yet and enough to ask someone to move it for me.

Wonder where I can keep my monitor so I can use it.  Are there extra long hdmi cables that are still good.  My notebook does not have an vga connector but only hdmi.

My internet connection went down for 15 minutes again.

    Is it back up?

Yes, it is back up.  Sorry for the late reply.

The weather report says that rain will fall for the next four days.  It has already rain for two days in a row.
