Well I've been wishing for a gift card sale; but buying 2 fairly expensive items for only 10% off is not my idea of "Save Big". I guess I'll have to wait awhile longer and hope for a better sale.
the 60% off stuff got me. Couple of catsuits, couple of pairs boots, the G8 clones for G3 so I can start to do even more damage on sales.....
Yeah, I got excited when I saw "Save Big on Gift Cards" ...only to see that the maximum "savings" you can get is only 10% and you have to purchase a minimum of $21 worth of products to get the 10% off. So you'd have to buy a $200 card just to cover the cost of the two items you have to purchase to get the discount. So you'd have to buy a card of at least $300 just to see a bit of savings. But even then with a $300 card in the cart as well as the two lowest prices qualifying items in the cart the total is $291 ...so a whole $9 in savings IF you buy a $300 gift card.
That's not, in my book, anywhere near the promised "Save Big". So I'll have to pass. Still waiting for a REAL gift card sale.
I'm annoyed, to say the least, at the very misleading wording of that sale.
@Divamakeup, Another thing that bothers me is you don't get an extra 10% off the products in the cart that qualify you for the discounted Gift Card. Daz tried that for a while, where the new releases also got the same discount as the GC. (For example, I bought a gift card at 15% some time back, where three items were required to get the discount, but buying three or more new releases also qualified them for an additional 15% off.) I was hoping that practice would stick.
Not interested enough in todays releases to buy a giftcard with 10%.
That's with yesterday's new releases.
Mother's day sales in USA is on Sunday. There is always daily sales at DAZlandia, Mother's day or not. But still hoping for a huge one.

Thanks. I was just pointing out the lack of one here in the Daz store... at least nothing came up in my search for lawn mower, just the push one. Garden tractor didn't come up with anything either. The 'other store' has the Mowmaster 500...
I don't think I've seen that sale (or can't recall it), but an additional 15% off the qualifying items would have improved the sale, for sure.
I really feel bad for the PAs who get the bad luck of having a product released on a "bad sale day". A sale that is so lack luster and uninspiring that people just go "meh" and do something else. It's not really fair to the PAs and makes me feel bad for them. The first 24 to 48 hours of a products release is usually when it brings in the most revenue, so having your product release during such a sale must really suck. :( It's quite unfortunate.
'Mama' needs another 24% off gift card sale... OK, that one involved stacking with a coupon/banner offer, but it was still a sweet discount!

You can make some impressive gorges with TerraDome 3 and its add-ons. Yes, this bridge will do nicely.
According to the file list in the wiki, it looks lile a simple prop with no morphs. I guess with only one product, it's hard to get any attention. I vaguely remember it, probably when it was released a few years ago.
Yeah, I thought about that too. But sometimes a sale the next day will say "with a new release" which would encourage buyers to surf through all the latest releases, particularly the banner offerings. I know that's where I start when looking for a new release, because those have other offers with them. And as we know, some stack.
I'm not positive it was on March 19, but that's the day I took advantage of if. It was 15% off the GC, as well as 15% off the new releases. It may have been one of those graduated sales, (buy more, save more,) but I don't recall. I do know I was "a bit annoyed" when a couple of days later it was 18% off GCs with only one new release!
Problem with the GC discounts (Down & Dirty GC sale).
Discount works fine with two new items, but discount cancelled with a third new item.
Okay, what the heck? The free shoes section now just has old Victoria 4ish shoes and Genesis 2. Where are all the shoes from yesterday? That section isn't supposed to change! It's the Dress to the 9's sale.
From what I gathered, from the PA forum, the sale at first accidentally included some PA items when it was meant to only include Daz Originals. While I was super disappointed too (I had my eye on a great Summer Footwear collection that was in my cart and I was ready to "pull the trigger" on), I can see why they fixed the issue. It wouldn't be nice for Daz to just give away a bunch of the PA's products without their permission. Believe me, I'm super disappointed too - I really was looking forward to those cute sandals!
Same here. But it only seems to happen when one or more of the new items is a PC+ item. two PC+ items will trigger the 10% discount but if a third PC+ item is added the discount is lost. Similarly if there are 2 non-PC+ items there is a 10% discount but if a PC+ item is added for the third item then the benefit of 3 items is lost and there is still only a 10% discount. I hope this can be fixed soon.
Grumble. The new Tank-SU76 is mis-labeled. An SU76 is a self-propelled gun, not a tank. Biggest tell is that there's no turret.

Not sure I understand, can you show me where it says it will work with the items you have chosen? I'm looking at the sale page and I see it works with tonight's new releases which are none of those in your list.

Umm correct me if I'm wrong but if it was only supposed to be for tonight's new release it should say "Buy any 3 Down and Dirty new release". Instead of just "any new release". And if it's only meant to be for the "down and dirty" new releases why would it also say "Qualifying purchase must exceed $1" ...none of the "Down and Dirty" new releases are $1 or less.

Not a problem then. I was taking a second look due to the "buy ANY NEW RELEASE" which now seems to be in question too. Sorry for the PAs who had items in the sale that weren't supposed to- Daz should be made to reimburse them.
From what I read, they're looking into making it right to the PAs who's products got given way. :)
IIRC that's a known issue with the store software — yes, another one. If you have <x+1> qualifier items in the cart (or more), it doesn't seem to realise that also means you do have <x> items. It gives me flashbacks to a certain scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. <eeeeeeeeeevil grin>
