Any Mother's Day sale coming?
Not sure what the deal is with not being able to make coupons ignore free/$0 items in the cart. Are they squeamish about making programming adjustments to the store software? It's a real pain during these free item sales.

I would have made a purchase but .....
While I cannot be sure, I do try to watch for special sales and when I look back on my order list I do not see a purchase for that date last year.
To be fair, many PAs show this tendency. There are a couple, who's figures to me look like "Ok, I have basic figure A, used basic morph pack B on her (as it's mostly female figures that get these many lookalikes) and now I change her a bit - not too much, because customers seem to like my figures and surely buy them, because they like their looks.. or rather look - and then I giver her some slightly different textures... like different make-up and maybe a tattoo or ten..." and, voila, there's the utterly new, stunning, beautiful etc. female figure.
From the PA's standpoint, this is a quite logical procedure, especially, when these "new" figures sell.
And it's one of the reasons, why I haven''t bought that many figures yet, as instead of having a whole stable of "sisters" it's for me better, to have some distictively different figures, whose settings allow me to use the dials and give me a vast amount of different results.
"Hey mom, I bought you this cute outfit for Mother's Day. No, you can't actually wear it, it's in my computer...'
LMAO! I need to forward this to my Mom now.
What if you make the character look like your mom and then send her the render? :) "Hey mom, I made some 3D art of you!". lol I think my mom would be like "I thought 'I made art of you as your gift' died out when you turned 11". lol
It might work on some moms though.
I'm sure a number of moms might appeciate this, depending on your 'artistic take' on her looks, etc.
Putting mom in a G string might not go over well though...

I suppose a 'legitimate' reason for a mother's day sale might be to gift items to the mothers around here who use Daz Studio. I'd imagine they could put such gifts to good use.
Mainly I was just sharing the humor that popped into my brain when I read 'Mother's Day sale'. I seem to remember there being some sort of Mother's day promotion last year, involving flower models or something.
Also, slightly off topic, I find the amount of money I invest in virtual wardrobe vs. real wardrobe amusing. Dollar wise, virtual wardrobe is winning by far these days...
Unfortunately DAZ does not permit gifting of models etc. The only thing we could purchase to give would be a gift certificate.
Hay, maybe they should have a 30% off sale on gift certificates, no additional purchase required.
As a mom, this is a gift I’d actually appreciate LOL Mind you, Mother’s Day in Ireland was some weeks ago.
@ Redz: I figured that Mother's day differ in various parts of the world. Nevertheless there should be a huge discounted sales on DAZ USA landia! Vote on this if you like....
In Mexico mother's day is on the 10th of May, so not quite yet :D

Prison Exercise Yard has lost its PC status and is at full price. Tried login, logout, nothing changed, still full price.
That's because it was never a PC item.. we do occassionaly feature non PC items in the related sales etc, where we release a PC item that requires/supports it.
Oh, okay. Thought that would be PC+ only ...
I did this with my mom using facegen, she even volunteered for photos because she thought it would be fun, but then it creeped her out when it was done. lol. I did a guess who on my facebook page and everyone guessed it was her, so I got the likeness pretty close.
I have a question about the Zahara 2 hair & the Zahara hair 2 expansion pack in todays sale. My question is do you have to have the Zahara 2 hair for the expansion pack to work,? I know it's titled as an expansion pack, but the Zahara 2 hair is not listed as a required item in the expansion pack. This makes it very confusing.
