Holy Free Sci-Fi Stuff email promo image
in The Commons
Does anyone know how the promo image for today's "Holy Free Sci-Fi Stuff" email was created? (http://email.daz3d.com/public/viewmessage/html/23560/ijwdi99cjllzojvlf1rqepw4l4bk8/0bc403eb0000000000000000000000113307)
The only new release that I can identify that was possibly used to create that image would be Ron's Lightning FX (https://www.daz3d.com/rons-lightning-fx) Other than that I do not recognize the characters, or outfits, such as the body armor that the female is wearing. What I'm most interested in is what process was used to generate the painted image effect?
Thanks,
Mike L.

A lot of layers and photoshop. Images are put together to combine the final image in post. Painter effects can be done manually or added with a software filter which can do some of it. Its nice work. I like a lot of Deviney's promo art.
Mike that image is All Photoshop and was created for, and I think by Ron in order to showcase his new brushes. It was at first a bit confusing to me as well since I have items in the sale. Fun art though, and I love Ron's brushes.
It looks like that Bio--Armor set mixed with
Antman, make or find a thread for your new releases. You're killing me, I want to talk about your Abandoned Factory.

I just commented over there and - the forum search stinks. I put in ABANDONED FACTORY and I got nothing.
But yeah, I get a little bothered when they show stuff that's NOT in the release. I thought he had a new robot...
That scene reminds me of this....
