Ultimately, there are some morphs that simply don't exist in the Genesis world yet, but I've yet to have Gen-X2 fail me. Here's one of the more extreme examples that I did for one of Zev0's contests, with Grotto's insectoid for M4 transferred over onto a G2M figure with some G2F morphs thrown in for good measure and the whole thing converted to Iray.
Impressive conversion, Cybersox!
i still using Hiro3, V3, David3, Hiro4,the She Freak4 incarnation of V4..
if i could use the mil3 textures on Genesis 3, I would prolly not use the Mil3 meshes anymore. converted without it looking ridiculous.
I still use 4 for well known characters this one hs been a & still is a gem for commissions. With all the nice iray skin shaders there is no reason not to.
Actually, you CAN use the textures for the mil3 females on Genesis 3 https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-3-special-edition-victoria-3 No male version yet, but hopefully soon. :)
Still using Gen3 figures and clothing. Havent found a reason not to. Ive been around long enough to have enough content for my Generation3 figures, there really isnt a need for me not to continue using them.

I started Daz in the days if Genesis 2, and still have/use a lot of that generation's stuff.
Any V4/M4 or Genesis 1 characters I pick up (free or very cheap) I convert to Genesis 2 using GenX. I also convert their materials to Iray. So I have a big stable of G2F/G2M characters who actually hail from older generations. I also use V4/M4 clothing where nothing better exists, albeit often retextured.
In my case, I purchase a lot of Michael 4 figures and use the textures with Genesis 8.
