    It's working for me. I think the main catch is it doesn't include "New' DAZ originals. I added a old DAZ original to my cart and it discounted the price.

    It has to be in the cart at the same time and as others above said it can't be an item with the "new" tag in the upper right corner. It also can't be any PC+ items.

    Yikes, I almost jumped on this promotion thinking the $ off would be in the form of a coupon I could use later. I sure would've been in for an ugly surprise to unlock $30 off and then not get it!

    If it's true the old DAZ Originals need to be bought in the same cart with the Newly Mad items which unlock the discount, DAZ should change the offer page to say so.

    It does say so: "DISCOUNT EXCLUDES NEW RELEASES & PC+ ITEMS FROM MADNESS ARTIST CATALOGS"

    It doesn't work for me .. or at least not for the content I'd like to have .. for example it works for ORC HD but not for Dolly, It doesn't work for Goblar and for Marcoor Corridor ... I can't find the point .. I tried so much more and the most content doesn'T work ,,,

    Marcoor corridor and Goblar are PC items.

    Color me *meh*.

    The buy in is essentially too steep for me, as I'm not overly interested in the newly mad items that are prerequisites for this sale.  But then that's par for the course with Daz sales these days...

    Yes, I've passed on a lot of the recent 'bargain sales 'buy-ins as they are too restrictive in what new content qualifies your for a discount or freebie, such as the Bowling Alley / Structural freebies the other day buy-ins were too restrictive and too steep. If you don't want it, it's not a bargain at any price.

    If you are wanting 3 of the Newly Mad items and you still need Michael 8 Pro  this deal brings that Pro bundle down to $12.51 since its also a related item.  Which is a tremendous price.  Its tempting but I don't really "want" three of the Newly Mad items.

    Yes, PC items and "new" items are excluded, there's a note at the bottom of the sale page.

The sale involves more than just the unseen representation of the products that the DAZ Store using to compute such things but also the visual representation and organization of the product - and that product is grouped with $30 off products so that is what the customer expects. That is poor salemanship and advertising.

    I felt like this would be one I could pass on, but I sorted my wishlist based on Daz originals and price, and it ended up being worthwhile. I wanted the Aiko mix and match dials anyway, and adding two more newly mad items that I had only minor interest in was worth it to make a package deal with some wishlist items that were already on sale with featured artists.

    Are you a PC+ member?  The difference between ~$17 and ~$12 is the additional 30% off Daz Originals for PC+ members.

    At first I was going to get Alexandra 8 Pro but like the Edward Pro, it is still New and doesn't qualify for the additioanl $30 off.  Bummer.

    Is there a category for eligible items? I was looking for that, didn't see a link, then thought they maybe just assumed people would just go to the store and filter on DAZ Originals themselves and work out the rest. I was wondering if I was missing a link or something though in the sale page.

    I don't think they did. The 'related items' at the bottom of the page is just a different section of stuff for sale. The $30 off is for all non-new, non PC+ DO's which, as far as I'm aware, they don't have a link to.

    So it seems the sale is working as designed this time. That said, I can certainly see how it's confusing. :)

    Or if you have the DAZ Deals Browser Add-on by Ati and Overdrawn you can click the extra filter it has for "PlatClub Coupon" - the rules are the same.

    Yes, as far as finding items that qualify for the $30 off it's lost sales if they don't make that easy for the customer. The average customer is not going to pick through tons of pitchblend to gather a gram of radium ala Madame Curie.

    It is broken. I added Mathius hair to check after Capsces Poses and Expressions for Monique 8 didn't work. Still nothing. Not even with 2 new mad items.

    Praying this one continues until Sunday. I have my eye on 4 newly mad items and a bunch of  DAZ originals, but I'm not going to have spare cash until Sunday.  I think the weekend sales usually don't change from Saturday to Sunday... I guess we'll see!

    Well poo. I was really hoping they would expand it beyond just yesterday's new items, I had to grab one I only sorta wanted to get the full discount on stuff I did really want from the back catalog.

    Yeah I threw away my whole cart after I read the promo copy again. Since I already bought some of the Newly Mad stuff yesterday, there's precious little left that I want. If I wanted anymore of it, I wouldn't have bought it yesteray :/
