While the description is short, I think it makes it clear what the product is:
So based on the description it's head and body shape morphs that combine with Aiko 8's morph to give you Aiko 7's head and body shapes. As well as Aiko 7 mats - all that can be used on Genesis 8 Figures.
I got this last night, and as you say, I am pretty sure that the Aiko 7 for Aiko 8 morph does need Aiko 8. She has massive arms and thighs when dialled in, and does not look much like A7, so I am guessing she needs the Aiko 8 morph to complete the A7 look. However, oddily no errors pop up saying it can not find the A8 morph.
As stated it comes with Aiko's MATs, and it even comes with a UV, but bizzarely this is not used as the skins supplied use the Base Female UVs. I guess that makes the skin more flexible than the Aiko 7 UV skin that comes with the real Aiko 7.
Basically at $3.30 this seemed an alright deal for anyone like me that did not have Aiko 7, a lot cheaper than $44.50 for the real thing! It has the added advantage (or disadvantage) of being on G8 instead of G3.
Love you, Diva, but I have to agree with @SpottedKitty on this one.
Five words does not a description make. In fact, for the Aiko 7 for Aiko 8 product, @Divamakeup gave a better description above. Tweaked a tiny bit I get: Aiko 7 for Aiko 8 gives you full-character, head, and body shape morphs specifically made to work with Aiko 8 to give you the Aiko 7 shape you know and love. But that's not all. Aiko 7 materials, including makeup and eye color options, are ready to use on Aiko 8 or any of your Genesis 8 female characters.
It took me about 5 minutes to come up with that, maybe a little more. I believe Daz should have someone on staff who can proof, and augment descriptions, especially for PAs who are unable to write these blurbs due to language barriers. A good description can and, usually, does mean more sales in the long run.
And here are some other things I'd like to know that could have answers in the details: Does this product include the Aiko 7 UVs for G8F, or have the materials been converted to Base Female? Have the materials been reworked to include Dual Lobe Specular Weight settings? I can see there is a difference between promo images with the two of each, but what am I seeing? Which render result is what I can expect if I use this product?

As a consumer, I expect more than the title of the product repeated in the "Details" section. I want a description. It doesn't have to be more than a few sentences, as long as it gives me the information I need to make a decision. If the information isn't there, my decision is usually going to be "no, I don't think I need that." Which means it doesn't make my wishlist, let alone my cart. That's just me, but I doubt I'm alone in this.
Yeah, under "Required Products" it says Aiko 8 - so I'm sure she's needed to get the full Aiko 7 look. :)
Oh, yeah, I totally agree that a better description would be very helpful, I'm just saying I think that what IS given does tell you what you get. :) I do think that a better description would be good though. I thought the question was whether or not it was confusing as to what the product is - but just reading what's included tells you. However I agree that most customers want a better description of what they're getting and not including at least a quick rundown of what the product is in the "Details" area can probably affect sales. Customers want as much information as possible when deciding whether or not they want to take a chance on a product so just copying the product name into the "details" section is not something I'd recommend. lol
So does anyone know what Aiko 7 for Aiko 8 looks like without Aiko 8? We can make our own G3 for G8 characters if needed or wanted, I'm wondering what this new character brings to the gene pool if you don't dial in A8...

Since I have Aiko 7 for Aiko 8, but not Aiko 8, then I am in a good position to show you. Basically she is not that pretty (in my opinion), unless you like your females with huge thighs. Does not really look like Aiko 7 at all, so I guess in this case she is adding something different.
I thought her eyes would be bigger to compensate for A8's smaller eyes, but they look weird, like she's on drugs LOL! Her mouth is kind of interesting though...

No, but (most of) North America has entered daylight savings time, so DAZ midnight may have shifted relative to your time.
Well, makes sense since it's is supposed to be a morph that shapes Aiko 8 to Aiko 7.
Arizona doesn't do Daylight savings time (go AZ!), as well as a few US territories, but the rest of the country does. Florida is considering ditching 'Standard Time' in favor of Daylight savings year round currently, and a few other states are looking into ditching Daylight Savings... I like to joke that Arizona changes time zones, as they are essentially on Pacific time half of the year, and Mountain time the other half...
I'm not a fan of Daylight Savings time, so I'm hoping that the efforts to repeal Daylight Savings gain more traction.
I'm getting DAZ Midnight (though it's really more DAZ half past twelve at the moment) an hour earlier for two weeks, until Europe goes to DST as well.
Looks like I'm finally hopping on the Platinum Club bandwagon, at least for a few months. With the Aiko 8 pro bundle plus 4 add-on items the quarterly membership is peanuts. Also the pro bundle with PC+ quarterly plus six additonal items winds up being the same price as just the pro bundle plus the quarterly membership. In total I'm getting everything in the list below for just under $76. For anyone on the fence about PC+, now might be the time to get a membership.
[edit] Just realized I screwed up, lol. The Capsces poses are already part of the pro bundle. Looks like I'll have to get a refund on that. The store system really shouldn't allow you to buy an individual item that's already in a bundle in your cart.

You're behind the times. :) That passed our legislature, I believe it was last week. Takes Congressional approval (what a crock) to be implemented so we're probably talking YEARS before it happens.
The EU is writing lengthy studies on the effects of not having DST. "People would be a lot happier." There. :D Done. :D Seriously, though, we've had DST for what, a hundred years? People somehow managed to survive before that, so I'm pretty sure we would again survive without it... :D
Got him for $ 2.79 and I really like him. The scars are a bit over the top maybe, especially the one on his back, but all in all he's a bargain.
Given I am more a go to bed late, get up late sort of a person, I would prefer to have DST all year round rather than scrapping it. I mean, why should I care if it is dark at 7am?
