How do I add new mat zones for an old clothing so I can apply different shaders to parts of it?

What tool would I use? Is there a tutorial that would walk me through the process?

Thank you!

the geometry editor works great for this. Select the item you want to edit. Then select the GE from the tools section, then right on the screen to get the options menu. Basically you select whatever polygons you want and create a new surface material from the selection.

  • Could try the geometry editor tool:

Or, create geoshell for clothing, turn opacity to 100% (default is 50% I believe), apply shader, then upload image based on template or old texture for cutout opacity (white for parts that show, black for parts that don't) so that only the area you want has the shader.
