Is P3DO Explorer (Worst App Name Ever by the way) any good for installing content from an old exe?

I'm looking for an app that will install to custom directories from the old exe files. Any ideas? Thank you!

    The old Bitrock installers had a bug which bit some people — when you get to the dialog that displays an installation location, there's supposed to be a "Browse" button on the right hand side to let you specify a custom Runtime location. If you're not seeing this, click into the folder text and hit the <Tab> key; this will skip focus to the Browse button even if it's invisible. Hit <Return> and the file selector should open so you can find your custom location.

    Is there a reason you have to use the old Bitrock installers? Everything has been converted to .zip archives, you can download the new installers from your account's Product Library page.

    Note that once you've run a few Bitrock installers to the custom location, you will see that folder path appear instead of the default.
