the world is inhabited by knights

I have been perusing the Pro Bundles and found that overall, male and female, there is a plethora of knight and fairies. fantasy related products, or of that vintage time.
Why no modern urban packages? Tats galore, hair styles, clothes. piercings, etc etc.
I realize a lot of artists are into fantasy or want to get away from real life in their imagination and creativity, but not all of us are into minotaurs, knights, dragons, centaurs, samurai, and so forth. Some of the items can be mixed into a modern scene though.

You might want to look closer. There are plenty of tats, piercing and modem clothes galore, including some of the pro bundles. Tats in particular are very popular.

yes..but i meant in the pro bundles. there are bits and pieces, but not a pro bundle dedicated to that genre.
maybe daz needs to offer a pro bundle where we can add our own requirements. Build your own pro bundle, and even get it free when you buy the near weekly new bundle package.
I hardly ever use the fantasy or the Roman/Greek fantasy in bundles so those are a wash for me. I do think fantasy warriors are popular with users so it seems unlikely they will stop including them, unfortunately for me.
It gets even worse for people like me, who think of many modern style trends as utterly unappealing. Tatoos in gerneral are great, but ever so often the styles used by the PA are something that I wouldn't want my figures be seen with publicly. And the same holds true for many clothes.
I guess for the clothes the main problem is, that "normal" clothes often aren't as easy to produce as the more skimpy outfits, where a lot less pixelwork has to be done.
And, of course, the tendency of the buyers to spend a lot of money for those skimpy clothes...
Ah well, no way to make everyone happy, I guess
I wonder if it's a matter of ones own perceptions, as, for me, as someone who mostly focuses on fantasy, I find the bundles awash with very samey modern outfits that I don't even bother to download. I am talking about male bundles, though, so perhap it's not the same with the female ones.
I had wondered about that.
So stuff like a baggy pair of shorts, boot cut or bell bottom jeans, a loose tracksuit, etc., are all more difficult to make so we don't see many new ones? Flipside, skintight 'revealing' clothes easier to make and also more profitable, so far more prolific?
Makes sense.

I'm not good with handles yet, but do remember avatars. Do you help with a topic that does reviews & lists assetts for us? Think the member's handle is "Novica" & avatar is a horse? ? ?
Anyway, if you are, maybe a good idea to start saving *everything* I like to DAZ wishlist even if "camper outfit for V4" might look 'dated' ? Kind of worried about "Edward" bundle. Only came with one outfit that wasn't d-force, a tool I haven't explored yet.
@ Hiro
Hadn't noticed about male/female bundles until you pointed it out, but yes-- V8 & M8 both come with 'fanstasy' outfits, but how convincing they look... All a matter of opinion I suppose.
Be a pretty dull world if we all had the same tastes.

@Tynkare Yes Novica and I are good friends. Novica still does the thread with reviews items. Yes Edwards outfits are all dforceable. At this stage of time I prefer conforming cloth to dforceable menswear I’m afraid. I find dforce clothing for the men doesn’t look heavy enough for me and I spend too much time running simulations and redoing textures when I’d rather be doing poses and such. Everyone likes different stuff and I do like dforce for other items like blankets and plants but so far for clothing I prefer conforming cloth which is easier to use and crashes less
The Charlotte 8 Pro bundle fits your description. Modern clothes, one fantasy, piercing, tats (Aisling), etc. But, yeah, I have too many fantasy clothes and I have no idea when I'll be able to use.
i must have totally missed that one...probably came out when i had no money. I did hav Aisling in my wishlist though
