In case anyone was wondering thought I'd mentioned the lady in the bed with Frogger is actually Ophelia 7 HD
One time where Ophelia is probably happy not to get proper credit
LOL Stop making things that are so easy to use and I wouldn't have a problem ;-) Here's my attempt at using the bed, not fully rendered but I got so excited I had to 'finish it'. Love love love this product!
There are so many things I want to say to this. But I'm going to leave it at, great render lol!
Also guys, remember that you can use just about any shader on this as well so the possibilities are endless.
HI,
I'm a new user of Daz on Mac (Mac os 10.11.4) and I've just bought your Ultimate DForce Bed. I follow your user guide step by step but when I arrive to : 4.Navigate to the “simulation settings” tab, and hit “simulate” , I have a trouble. I'im surely a dumb but I can't find where I can hit "simulate". I would be most grateful to you for any help. Thanks.
P.S : Please, apologize my poor english.
No problem. Your English is better than my... Spanish, the only other language I learned a bit of in school.
Look at the image you uploaded in your post. Notice the "tabs" running along the side: Tool Settings, Content Library, Parameters and Scene. Those are a few of the many "Panes (Tabs)" available. To open the Simulation Settings tab, go to the main menu across the top of Daz Studio, (File, Edit, Create, etc.) and click on Window. From the resulting drop-down menu, select Panes (Tabs). Scroll down until you find Simulation Settings, and click on that. The Simulation Settings pane will open, probably in front of your viewport. To dock that pane into a tab, drag it over the other tabs and drop. Open the tab, and you'll find a blue "Simulate" button in the upper right corner of the pane.
Be aware, the list of Panes (Tabs) will toggle visibility. If you have a pane open, clicking on the pane name in the list will close it!
I hope this helps.
Just to add on to what L'Adair said above, i've added an image to guide you in case you get stuck..
I didn't know you could access the tabs list like that! What a timesaver.
Thanks, @Angelreaper1972
Thanks to all for your help. It works fine !
You can run your tabs across the top as well if you prefer. I can't do the side tabs, it drives me nuts lol. I have a super cute render with a baby and a blanket but I can't post it yet since the promos aren't out yet. But, I sized the blanket down to fit inside the bassinet and I added a crochet shader to it so it looks like a knit baby blanket. Super happy with how it drapes over the baby and settles in the bassinet.

There's something very familiar about this image reaper, well done
thanks Kindred, yeah same with me too except it's two german shepards and a single bed for me
Remember my test render with the MICK Medieval Bed? I was looking at it, and realized the fabric was made up of a lot of squares. Squares. And "square" is the shape we're rendering this month for Llola Lane’s RENDER A MONTH Challenge 2018. So...
The Royal Bedchamber
Full-size is 2000 x 1066 pixels and can be viewed from the gallery. Making the duvet and curtains play nice together was easier said than done. There are dForm-created morphs on both. The curtains look like someone used too much starch, still not bad considering the bed was one of dozens of props for a room creation product! The cat, (he's white, but looks a bit gray without any direct light,) is nestled in a hollow created by using a cylinder primitive for the duvet to fall up against. That's the Hivewire3D housecat with Saiyaness' great LAMH fur. I need to add a camera to that scene and get a close up of the royal feline...
That's a lot of bed for such a small cat
Lovely render L'Adair, i thought you'd left in some noise for a moment but then realized its the godray prop. Looks great!
Thank you, KA. And trust me, the cat thinks the bed is just right! (And the HW3D Housecat is scaled to fill the void in the duvet, just over 140%!)
I was going for dust particles visible in the sunlight. the prop was working really nicely, too, with just the light from the HDRI coming in through the window. Then I decided to go with the Celebrations Iray addon, which uses refraction to make the window transparent, instead of opacity. Unfortunately, the HDRI no longer lit the prop through the window. This is the short prop, and I set the dust layers to use the medium prop's dust layers, and the FX layers to use the short prop's dust layers. Then I cranked the Luminance way up. Not as "dusty" as the vendor's settings, but the spotlight messed with the effect of the the light through the window on the floor.
@ladair Cats deserve such a big bed, they're royalty! And @angelreaper1972 has an adorable canine who is obviously king of the bed. Love both renders!
I guess this means you're gonna love the follow up render, a different angle and close enough to count whiskers!
I know you've all been holding your breath, waiting for the cat render.
Sorry to take so long, but one does not rush a cat. Not if one does not want any new scratches on her arms! Without further ado, behold:
The Royal Mouser
Notice all those wonderful folds of the UDB Duvet. As I mentioned previously, I used a cylinder primitive for the duvet to collide with to get those folds, and the void where the cat is sleeping. The area under the canopy is relatively dark, (that's why the white cat looks gray in the previous render,) so I used a horizontal Ghost Light on the cat.
she's so fluffy h
So darned cute. Well done @ladair
Thank you, angelreaper1972. I used the free LAMH long hair preset from Saiyaness for the HW3D housecat, and added some length in LAMH. (I've never been successful creating anything with LAMH, so it was a surprise it even worked!)
Thank you, too, Worlds_Edge. I'm glad you like it.
@ladair I don't like it, I love it!!! Cool trick with the cylinder, although I have yet to experiment with dForce. Which is why I love the click and watch it do it's thing dForce Ultimate Bed!
Thank you, @Novica. I'm really glad you like my kittie.

@Novica, I detail how I used the cylinder in the dForce, dWeight and dWardrobe thread. I think you'll be surprised at how easy it is to impliment.
Okay... now I have to look for Lederhosen, beermugs, shepherd crooks and those strange bavarian hats to make my version of that...
